Our 18-month-old grandson is more verbal every time we see him, and he doesn't know how to play OuiSi games but he's getting close and he loves the cards. We have the "nature" version and he knew what was on the _flamingo_ card: "amingos", he said. We have (and love) the original OuiSi set, but this one is even better! We all love scanning the code and learning more about the different pictures. The images are stunning and the peaceful play it brings is so much fun for the whole family. Our kids love OuiSi-- they started around 3 years old and it is an activity that grows with a kid. I used these unique cards for the first time with my six-year old and two-year old grandchildren recently. We only used 40 cards because their little hands can't hold too many at a time, but the six-year old sorted according to six color and then sorted according to six shapes. My dad has Parkinson’s related dementia. We have a hard time finding an activity he wants to do. (puzzles, card games etc do not interest him) Until now….. I received my order right away which worked out great since my 12 year old grandson was spending the weekend with us. He loves board games and this one was no exception. We had fun trying it out. Will get it out again soon for a family gathering to see how it works when more people are involved.
