The cases work very well for my 18650 unprotected batteries. I usually stick a spare case in my backpack during hikes for flashlights and headlamps. I do wrap the case with Ranger Bands to insure the case doesnt open in my pack. Plastic hinges may eventually wear out but they are only 50 cents. More concerned with batteries rolling around in my pack but bands take care of that concern.

Great price on great batteries. My only complaint is that one set of four batteries (I ordered 32 of them) didn't come in their regular packing/box. They were poorly packed in a large box with paper stuffed in the box and they suffered a little bit of cosmetic damage - a couple of them were dinged a bit.

Work GREAT to buy me time till I clamp the cells. These bars completely eliminate any mechanical strain on the battery terminals caused by expansion and contraction from the charge/discharge cycle. Wish I had them on all my batteries from the start but I do now.

The picture is of the new batteries. But I'm writing about the bank I purchased roughly 2 years ago. As I have been able to cycle them daily in my off grid set up. WITHOUT A BMS..... lol they have remained within in 2 one hundreds of a volt to each other. Which is a testimony to the quality of these cells. I do check them manually almost every day. As you should if not running a bms. May add bms in the future but for now it's working good.

So far, these cells are working well for me. I'm not sure the capacity they actually hold as I haven't put them on a charger that shows that. My 4x charger only shows the time. It does allow me to choose .5A or 1A to charge. So far I am extremely pleased with the battery. Takes up much less space and less weight than the 3 lead acid batteries I was using. After a deep dropping trip on Saturday, the battery was still 98% charged after several hours of fishing time. Seas were less than 1 and I have the Rhodan 108 on a 34 Yellowfin. Seems to be an excellent set up.

I needed a custom battery for my RC EDF Jet. I used .015 nickel tabbing and welded it to the cells. Worked Great!! Now I have a 2500mah 3s also tapped at 2S for my receiver pack. Discharged to 3V/cell and recharged to 4.0V/cell. They received 2250mah during the charge. Excellent !! More capacity and lighter weight than Separate LI-Po battery. Great for my RC projects
