We have 4 cats and 2 elderly with a bathroom right at the top of the steps. Needless to say this makes me nervous so to add some safety for the seniors and control the cats this was perfect. It prevents the cats from tripping them or startling them in the middle of the night but also adds some safety to prevent accidental falls.

Bought this to keep our cat from going crazy at the front window and possibly breaking the glass. This took only minutes to install and it fits tight. Eavy material and feels very sturdy. Doesn't interfere with our window blinds either. Very ingenious product. We'll worth the money. Item arrived fast too.

If you install any side panels you need to install them first, then the screws and if need be the "encryption rods". Then dry fit into the opening. Make sure the amount of threads you have exposed is the least amount possible. If you have too much space leaving a gap over 0.59 inches you will need the encryption_rod along with 2 nuts at each end. This can be adjusted after you install the gate securely in the opening. Just make sure they're evenly spaced when tightening to your opening.

i'm a huge fan of this gate. had to separate my cats due to fighting and didn't want to drill into my wall. put up this gate by myself pretty easily and it uses tension screws to stay put. it's VERY sturdy and strong. the little cat door is cute and the magnet holds well. the only thing i wish is that i could open it with one finger - sometimes if i'm holding like a drink in each hand it's tough to open it because you need to grab the handle and slide it but that's a very minor complaint and doe...

I was looking for a tall cat gate to separate my two fluffies after a stressful Vet visit. Something that they couldn't jump over with narrow openings that couldn't be squeezed through. It's a sturdy steel, pressure-mounted gate with narrow ballisters which is such a great idea, much safer. Of course, I love the walk-through feature and the double locking. The inclusion of a cat door is interesting. I would think most cats would jump over it, but then, not kittens or older cats, so it might come in handy. Aesthetically, it looks very nice.

I have a cat that is an escape artist and has a vertical that is very high. He can practically jump anything and slip through the smallest cracks. HE CAN NOT get through this gate. Finally something works to keep him out of the basement. Very sturdy well made but a bit pricey. Nothing worked in the past but finally this gate has been our solution.

Very sturdy gate. We have a large dog and it is both tall enough and strong enough to keep her out of living room when we can’t supervise her. Delivery was a bit slow but customer service was very responsive and helpful. Easy to install; directions very clear. Highly recommended.
