I’ve put together a few gates in the time we’ve had our German shepherd and this is best, far and away. Solid, good materials that all fit together well. Assembly could not have been easier. It is well designed functionally and appearance-wise, and the self-closing action is great. Recommended.

Super tall and thin bars. This was a bit hard to install but serves the purpose. One person to hold it in place, the other to work the assembly part. Took about 15 minutes to install it .You can open it with one hand.It is a good choice when i need my cat to stay in a certain part of the house.

I have an extra wide opening 139 in. I communicated my needs to your customer service department and they were extremely helpful in creating a configuration that would fit. I have assembled the unit and it works great. I use it on a deck to block an opening to confine my small dog. I was very impressed with the prompt response to my e-mails regarding this setup.

Our cat is always curious and rushes down the stairs when we have visitors. I think it's time to buy a high gate to install on the stairs. This will prevent the cats from accidentally colliding with our guests. This gate fits the bill, and the delivery was very quick. The little door at the bottom is great designed and when we are not entertaining we open it and let our cat come and go as she pleases. A very good product.

Open and READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS and follow them! Mine is a summary to help.I say this because everyone's installation may vary slightly.Verify you have all of the hardware and pieces.Once you install the "stumble_pedal" it will stand upright making it easier to install an extension if needed.

With an older house doorways can sometimes be a little off, so it took longer than expected to install it. Once installed, it has been working as expected. The cats have been able to access the basement (their quiet space) without the pups following them. It's also worked well with my grand kids, they are too young to work the latch so that has been reassuring. All in all, it's working just fine.

Works great! I love that the door swings in or out, and is very easy to open and close. We added a 1x4 on each end for the tension brackets to tighten into so that I knew my door casings would be protected.

These gates are wonderful! Saving us a ton of trouble with keeping animals out of certain rooms. My only complaint is one of our gates arrived really scratched up, it looks like it’s used. But it works perfectly!!! The gates are a life saver for us
