My third time purchasing! These really work! Some reviews have complaints regarding the smell but I feel like those people are ones who've never gotten a perm before like c'mon... its perm... they all smell. In fact, the smell goes away after 2-3 days so it's not a big issue. But I do wish DPERM could sell the perm separately. I don't need nor want to spend extra on a new brush and papers every single time... I get that it comes with the box but I already have 2 brushes from my previous purcha...

My hair has always been thick & puffy in my sides, back, top... everywhere; but i decided to I decided not to try it on my sides but on my top hair which long ago i gave up on styling - and I was really suprised! In my picture you can see how Dperm chainged my top hair from puffy and wild to soft and very easy to style. I'm very satisfied and grateful with the experience. It's the best Hair product i've ever tried. Thank you Dperm!

I like this product. 5 stars for doing what it is marketed to do. Contents: white paper, comb, and a big tube of the down perm solution/cream? Number of uses: about 3, I got a big ol head so I guess 3 uses was the max I can get out of that tube; which I mean, there is A LOT in there. Was holding off on giving this a go for the longest time. Finally ordered the kit, and wowzers! The results speak for themselves. I used to have the same struggle any other Asian guy has with puffy annoying side hairs. DPERM solved this big time. No longer need to do skin fades which I hate, but had to do to keep tidy. I have very spiky hair, and two unruly cowlicks. It used to be impossible for me to have short hair without it standing straight up. Using this product I was able to get a haircut I’ve wanted for a long time bc it completely flattened my hair. If you have poofy hair on the side (like myself), this product is worth a try. Especially if you are experimenting with trying to grow out the sides of your hair and want to avoid the awkward poofy phase. Easy to follow steps, had a little bit trouble putting on the paper, would stick. Had to apply a bit more of the serum evenly to get it to stick. Planning on getting a haircut soon after this pic is taken. Very impressed with the results! The product is great, works well for stubborn side hair. I personally recommend applying it after 2 weeks of getting a hair cut. I recommend applying a really generous amount and cover the entire treated area with end paper in order to get the best result. This will definitely be an essential to my life. Shocked how well this works. No haircut or gel in that pic. Smell is strong but goes away - turn on your exhaust or open a window when applying this stuff. Make sure to apply a lot or you won't see much of a difference.

My hair strands are extremely thick and I have a lot of hair, so my hair basically is super coarse and sticks up straight. There is a noticeable difference after using the product! Only thing for me is that the papers didn't really work because my hair is super thick.

I love the product but it’s time consuming just laying down on each side for 25 to 30 minutes. If anyone is reading this I suggest you to use a headband it saves you time and you could do other things at the same time.

This product is amazing, it definitely does what it said it would. I just think it was error on my part because when I got done my hair was flat against my skin looking as if I had a hat on all day. I had it on about 25 minutes on each side since it was my first time. I would probably keep on for 15 minutes the next time i try it out and not so flush against my skin. But overall can’t wait to try it again

I've tried a lot of down perm products in the past and this one is definitely the best by far. The results are what I've been looking for in a down perm DIY since getting one at the salon is a bit pricey! Would definitely recommend it. Only thing is it's a bit pricier compared with other down perm products on the market but the results are worth it. Will definitely buy again!

Ok I'm in my 50s and have always had issues with the "chia" pet effect of short hair trying to get long.
