I was very sceptical purchasing these gloves as I hadn't heard about these guys before (in Australia). I could be in a heated room with temperatures inside at 18 C but my fingers would still be very cold and I wanted something that could really provide decent warmth. These gloves have been making a huge improvement to my life already. The heat is wonderful. I don't have to constantly fight to have circulation in my hands because the gloves warm them up gently and to the perfect temperature. The heat also goes right over the joints and offers wonderful relief when they are hurting. They are also surprisingly functional. I live in Melbourne Australia and contrary to popular belief it is not always hot, in the south it can get very cold in the winter sometimes minus degrees celsius. They are extremely thin and flexable, and are really warm to a low hot when they are on setting (no 1) Red Glow. They last about 3 to 4 hours on red glow. They are also great for using on my phone with the touch fingertips while driving, My phone is sitting on a shelf open, when it rings, I can answer with just a small touch on the answer button. I wish I had gone looking for something like this a while ago. During winter it is often minus or close to it when I leave for work. I would wear a pair of gloves and then a pair of mittens over the top to try and keep my fingers warm. This made it very difficult to feel things such as buttons due to the bulk and not having the dexterity. Now I wear these gloves, still have the dexterity and my fingers are warm. I have only had for one week but it has been a cold week in Florida. My Reynauds requires gloves near 50 degrees no matter what. Have been using Hot Hands in conjunction w/regular gloves for a long time. I am enjoying these Toasty Touch gloves as they offer freedom of not holding a hand warmer while keeping hands warm.
