I love these shoes!! They are the only pickleball shoes I could find with a wide toe box (vs a wide width) with is so important for overall foot health. Very light and comfortable. The only thing I would change is the tongue length. It could be longer as it constantly slides to one side or the other. Not a deal breaker by any means, just frustrating and hopefully something Tyrol will fix in the next release of the shoe.

This is my second pair. First pair: a bit heavy but fit is nice, comfort is outstanding - but heavy! This pair: redesigned, for the better I guess. Not near as heavy, fit is good, not quite as comfortable but ok for sure! Hard to tighten (lases) for some reason.

Well, after some tough months with pain and numbness using shoes I always used, A friend, John M, suggested I try Tyrol. I play 12-18 hrs of competitive pickleball per week. Bought the Smash. What a great idea- roomy front portion for my feet, plenty wide, snug in the ankle so responsive. No pain, no numbness, no discomfort. Played all weekend and my feet are not sore. The material gave just enough, vented on the bottom. Honestly, no complaints.

I have tried about 10 brands of pickleball shoes over the five years I have been playing. Tyrols without doubt are the highest quality. Great lateral stability, comfortable and with the Vibram sole the durability is fantastic. The Stack is my fourth pair. I also have the Velocity V and the Drive V. My only recommendation is that Tyrol had at least one style in 4E as I have wide feet. I had to put a shoe stretcher in all my Tyrols for a couple days and although that worked, it’s sort of a hassle.

I have struggled to find pickleball shoes that don't hurt my feet or make my feet hurt after wearing them. So far I think these shoes are what I have been looking for. All feet are different but for me these are the most comfortable pickleball shoes I have owned over the last 3 years. I have slightly wider feet (not super wide) and the toebox on these come wide to begin with. My toes are not cramped. I wear a 10.5 in a running sneaker and the 10.5 in these fits perfectly. This is my second pair of Tyrol’s. I play a lot of pickleball and these shoes last longer than other shoes I’ve tried. Also provide good stability. Only negative is that they weigh a bit more than other shoes. But probably because they are made with good materials. Especially the sole.

Pros: the shoes are true to size. They have a lovely wide toolbox, so if you have wide feet you’ll be very happy. The cushion is also fantastic and the shoe is very breathable. Soles are also sturdy and they’ll last a good while, even if you play daily. Some of my previous shoes the tongue was either too light or too heavy but this tongue is the right mix and it stays in place as well. Some previous models the tongue slid to the right during play.
