Shipped very quickly, got stuck in mail. I'd contacted the company when I was prompted for a review, letting them know. They actually answered me asking for a couple more days and offered assistance if it still hadn't moved. It arrived shortly there after and I was happy with the purchase. The pencils are perfect and customer service is top notch.

I love using my Castle Arts colored pencils! I have 2 full sets, as well as a 72-pencil set for when I need something more portable. I'm not an artist (as you can see from my doodles lol), but for what my opinion is worth these are very nice pencils. They lay down smooth with strong pigmentation. The core is strong - I haven't had any break when using or sharpening. They take a fine point well for small details. They feel nice in the hand. I'm very happy with my purchase. They are helping me pass time during a lengthy recovery.

I absolutely love these pencils!!! Most metallic pencils end up muddy or look too silvery, but the color really shines through with these. I had a spot of trouble and customer service was AMAZING!! If I could give Castle Art customer service 10 stars I would! The pencils also deserve 5 stars but I would rate the case 4 stars, just because it's not very well made. Got these as an inexpensive alternative to prismacolor pencils. Awesome set of labeled pencils with names and numbers (that don’t seem to go in any particular order). Comes with a color card to fill in which is great in my opinion. And love the carrying case that displays out all the pencils for easy access and traveling. Great buy and will definitely buy other sets.

These paints are rich in color and blend well. They get sticky quickly, so I used a retarder to keep them smoother longer. They took longer to dry than other acrylics I’ve used, even without the retarder. I look forward to buying larger tubes of these paints and trying different techniques and learning the spirit of these in their original state without any mediums added. I do portraits and memorial pieces for Veterans and Goldstar families and will probably promote these pencils. This piece is a rough draft so far but will give you an example of what is possible with these pencils without having to spend rediculous amounts of money on caran daushe, or F.C.polychromos......these are like creamy prisma premier that dont break. I will try castle s other mediums when i can afford to.

They lay down color with the lightest touch. So far I havent colored a picture, but did color in the included color template. They seem to be pretty smooth and easy to work with. The names and numbers on each pencil are very easy to read. Im super glad to see that they added a handle to the carry case! Also came with with FOUR drawing pads and booklets with tips tricks and info.

This is a grayscale coloring page from coloring bliss.com; I was overwhelmingly pleased with the performance of these pencils! The picture took on an impressionistic oil painting like quality with very little effort on my part! I am not a professional artist! The pencils blended well on this 80# Vellum Bristol coloring page, but I helped it a bit with Gamsol.
