The mixed media set is exactly what I was looking for. It has everything I need. What it doesn’t have I can do without. The watercolor pencils in it are top notch. The picture I sent you was done with the soft touch colored pencil. I was surprised to find thatI could do all of my blending with a dry q-tip. I procrastinated buying this item for several weeks. I’m glad I gave in.

I'm not a very experienced colorist yet but was looking for a set of pencils comparable to my Prisma's. These are soft but hard enough to not crumble a lot if being a bit heavy handed when coloring. I haven't tried blending with them yet but I imagine these will work well even then for what I need. As for being very sensitive to smells, these have a nice wood smell versus other pencils I've tried that caused me issues for days after using them. I would definitely recommend these!

IN LOVE!!! so many colors and literally almost the same quality as prismacolors for like 1/5 of the price! i love the huge color selection, best $30 ever spent. the case is handy and they’re all numbered so i can put them all in the correct order! very satisfied, definitely gonna get more castleart products ^_^

I've always used Prisma pencils but after purchasing these I have to say I like them a lot better. The pencils just glide across the paper. No need to apply pressure as the color lays down easily. They blend smoothly with good color. I will be a repeat customer.

I don’t use paint pens often, but these are amazing compared to other brands I’ve used. I used them for shrinky dinks and they have great coverage on the plastic sheets.

I love the quality so much I brought in these products to my art studio.i am running art camp this summer and Castle Art acrylics fit my needs for quality and price point but to my amazement the quality, smoothness of color. The richness of these paints make any session a dream. Excellent companion to my full set of Castle Art colored pencils. They are just as good as Prismacolors but at a fraction of the cost, which means that I can freely use them without treating them as too precious to use. The Bullfinch was done with a combination of the two sets, but the background used the Harmonious colors, showing how well the two sets go together.

Since Prisma***** sent manufacturing to Mexico the quality has decreased. These pencils are better. Love the spirit this company projects too. I needed the pastels for vibrant light colors. I filled out a basic color wheel with light, medium, and dark of each hue. What beautiful colors.

Bought these because of the floral colors. They color beautifully. I was coloring in class on our fun day and noticed one really shy student sitting alone drawing. I gave her a picture and the pencils to use. Wow. Such skill with shading on her pic. I ended up gifting her the set and I continue to receive colored pics from her. Now I have to buy another set for myself.

I really like these colored pencils, they are so soft and creamy and just glide on the paper, I prefer these over my more expensive pencils. Love your soft leaded pencils. BUT, you need to start selling individual pencils…..at a reasonable price, of course!! I use certain colors more than others, and they are down to nub size. I cannot purchase new sets to get a few pencils that are worn down.
