I have tons of pencils from the most expensive on the market to the cheapest and I have to say the Castle Arts have won my heart and are now my go to pencils! I have not touched another pencils since I got these! I am in love!

These pencils are wonderful, my picture was colored with a mix of the pasteltints and the soft touch 120 set. I actually like castle art more then my Prismacolors. I think the lay down is smoother and blending is better. I am definitely a customer for life! If you can afford it make sure to get the pencils in the zipper cases, they are great quality and make using the pencils way easier. Thank you castle art for making such a beautiful product. I hope to own the gold set one day. ✨️

I purchased the Castle Arts 12 premium quality drawing pencils, and the two pack sketch book. I created this graphite pencil drawing of a running shoe by following a artists book for beginners.The sketch paper did not tear when using the different hardness in pencils as well as erasing. There was no bleeding though to the backside of this paper. I have since purchased other items in your product line.

Pencils are nice a smooth. I am very happy with them. The colors are bright. The metal case is very nice. It is easy to get the pencils out. Just press the end of the pencil and it pops up. Great design. Also the inside of the case has a color palette, Including the name of the color and it’s number. I love my pencils. The Van Gogh cover is very nice. I have been pleasantly surprised by my Castle Arts Gold pencils. I am a casual colorist. I use them in various coloring books. I find them very layer-able as oil pencils, but as blend-able as wax as well.

The pencils have a soft pastel type quality but I can achieve darker images with layers much like the other art pencils I have tried. I did the daisy picture using the Van Gogh 24 pencil set. I have several sets now and I love the huge range of colors to choose from.

An absolute stunning array of colors and hues. I experimentes with them pretty much immediately. They're soft to hold and the colors and rich and wonderful to use. They blend well in their own depths. I haven't had a chance yet to see how well they blend together like with other colors but from what I've seen i believe they'll work beautifully. I'm very happy about this purchase. Comparative to Prisma color pencils I'd say. Sorry about the name drop just making a point.

Great graphite pencils! Love the hardness/softness range offered in this pencil set. They sharpen nicely and don't break easily. Make very nice tones when shading, love using these for anime/manga sketches.

Layering these pencils make for such a smooth rich blend. Using regular rubbing alcohol on them enhances the blending and allows for even more layers to be added. I'm thoroughly impressed by these colored pencils!

I consider myself a very novice creator of tiny "works of heART". I thrive on all things COLOR FULL that bring joy, peace and harmony. Using these Castle Art pencils is amazing and I can lose track of time just blending colors with thoughts. I have the water color pencils, the smooth pencils and now the Castle Gold oil based pencils. I love all of them, the do not disappoint and the tins they come in are awesome as well.
