They're a really nice pair of boots compared to some now-4-yr 8-hole docs'. They're sturdy and bulky, tough and resilient but malleable; without being uncomfortable, rather than soft, fragile-like.
Only having spent a half-week wearing them through significant foot traffic, I can't say how much it'll take to truly damage the boots, but for general footwear they're great.
