I have the V1 and liked the freedom it provided except for the fact that I was always steering it, bought the V2 and what a nice surprise, it goes straight and way more power, I play 18 holes and its still shows all 5 lights , very happy, the only thing I don't like is the charging port on the remote is on the side and my thumb is constantly touching it which means very soon that cover will be gone , it should be on the front not the side

Really happy with this purchase. It’s so nice to not have to push my cart now. The remote is very easy to use and I never feel like the cart is going to get away from me. The best feature is the button on the remote that locks all the buttons. This way I can drive the cart around the green as I walk on to mark my ball and then lock the remote so I can safely put it in my pocket while putting. So convenient!

Installed my new swivel kit on click gear 3.0 fixed wheel. It is amazing. Less resistance, turns on a dime and tracks true. Recommend to any one with fixed wheel. So much better!!!

Well I live in the Northeast and have not had a chance to use the cart yet. I did however open the box and put it together in 10 minutes. It appears the cart is quality made.

Tracy T. was extremely helpful in addressing my issues with my V1 unit. It initially stopped functioning appropriately. It continued to turn in a circle! She helped me diagnose whether it was in the mother board in the V2 upgrade or with one of the motors. Once the unit began functioning as I wanted, one of the wheels fell off! I’ve had the V1 for over a year and liked it except for the fact that it wouldn’t go straight, I was always driving it, bought the V2 with the tether , I can’t believe how nice it works, one thing I would like Alphard to do on the remote is move the charging port to the front , having on the side my thumb is always on that rubber cover , that’s a free idea for you

The Club Booster V2 a great product. I shopped for motorized carts and spoke to people who own them. But I love my Sun Mountain bag and cart and the Club Booster V2 promised a quick and easy installation to my push cart. It was quick and easy and the V2 motor and remote work flawlessly. I use v2 Wheels with a clicgear 3.5 cart. It works fine but is not easy to move left and right from a stop position. Pivoting wheel would be better. That said, I just position my cart to where I am going when stopped. Moves very well when moving forward. Extremely stable compared to made for battery carts. Stability alone makes this worth the little inconvience of not moving easily when stopped. If not lined up I just move it by hand. Great product.

No Brainer!! If you are on the fence about the V2, pull the trigger! It’s a great product. I’ve played 6 rounds with it on all kinds of terrain. It may be because it’s new but I have yet to use more than one bar playing 18 and have had no issues of any kind with it. I love to walk but if I played 2 days in a row pushing I would be struggling a little to finish that second day. If your a Walker around 50 you know exactly what I’m talking about. So….it’s a mixed bag. Overall, I really like the V2 on my Click Gear 3. It’s very stable, and easily makes it through 18 holes with no problem. Usually 2 or 3 of 5 battery lights still lit after 18 holes on my very hilly, 6500 yard course. Several hills are truly a Tibetan death march, and it traverses those rises easily. It’s a very good product. The “not so great” points, and these points are somewhat exaggerated because a guy in my foursome has the MGI Navigator, so I can see the differences...

I like it a lot!!! The only thing that needs improvement is the app. The remote is great but the app needs to be open for the cart to move. With the next app upgrade I’d like to see the app remote to function on continuous movement to be able to work without having the app directly open on your main screen. Makes multi tasking on phone and remote difficult

What a difference! Unlike the one wheel on my Cliqgear, the two wheels turn so easily, and provide more stability.

The wheels work well and have played two rounds thus far. Cart is stable and battery last well past a full 18 at my local course. It has been a pleasure not pushing a cart and taking that load off of me.

What a great improvement for the Alphard 2. Besides the improvement in steering, the stability of 4 wheels makes for a smoother ride. A bit more comber some for travel and storage, but worth it. Mounting may require a couple more screws for older models etc., but not a difficult task.

Easy to remove the V1 and install the V2. Seems to use less battery power but that may be attributed to having converted my Clicgear 3.5 front wheels to the swivel retrofit. Definitely moves smoother but I really can’t tell if the gyro feature works. That because of the course contours. The true test for the gyro would be to run it on a perfectly level course, which is not realistic.

If buying for a single wheel clic gear, definitely buy the swivel conversion. It really struggles without the wheels I see and sadly they are out of stock till mid October. Frankly the motor shouldn’t be sold to fixed front wheel cart owners without the conversion. Betting Alphard knew this though. Shame I’ll either have to spend another $100 with Alphard or go to Home Depot and spend $10 and a Sunday to retrofit it my self. Other than that glaring omission, I love the motor.

I received the TFS and used it a couple of times so far. I have really enjoyed it overall. It has performed as well as it has been advertised. It certainly frees your hand up from the remote at times though I still use the remote frequently here in sunny Texas to position myself to the side or behind my cart at a pace that allows me to take advantage of my large umbrella. Will probably use it more when the weather cools down and I can put the umbrella away. Must say it's a good product.

Yep, does exactly as it says on the box! Easy install and works perfectly. Old fixed wheel on my Clicgear 3.0 was a pain with the new battery pack as it would always pull one way or the other, this conversion kit has that sorted and its now effectively a brand new trundler! I’m 69yrs old with a 12 handicap. This unit allows me to play golf, just like Rory. I hit the ball unto the green and stride down the fairway carrying my putter, while my clubs head towards the next tee. In all seriousness I would recommend this unit for anyone that doesn’t want to feel spent after pushing a cart around the course. It is probably the best golf investment after lessons

I was an early adopter of the V1. I later upgraded my internals to the V2, and I added the tether follow system. I loved the TFS because I could spend less time “steering” with the remote. The CB Sidekick is a worthy upgrade, and the new remote adds useful features. The remote clip and magnetic remote attachment is a low-key game changer. I used to keep the remote in my pocket during rounds. Now, I can easily clip and unclip it from my belt. The remote has some great upgrades for ease of use...

My sidekick hooked as directed. I had to hook up the remote a second time, but since then the sidekick has worked as advertised, which is awesome! It has seemed to learn my walking pace etc, even though it wasn't advertised to do so. But it is a total luxury as the V2 worked great prior to adding the sidekick.

The Alphard V2 has been great so far, has all the power you need and is very responsive. Purchased for use with my Sun Mountain V1 cart which has worked fine but I now see the benefit of having a cart with a front wheel that swivels. I just purchased the Omni cart and will shortly have that out on the course.
