This is a lovely yarn, soft and will look lovely with my winter pants. The colour is very suttle with a light fleck of tan in. Knitting up a real treat.

This would be one of my favourite yarns. The colour range is fantastic and the chunky yarn works up really quickly for a blanket. The fibre is strong but soft, so it's super cuddly. I absolutely love it!

I absolutely love this pattern. Even though I’m an experienced knitter I prefer something easy when I attend my various knitting groups. All that chatting away and mistakes can easily be made. But not with this pattern. So easy I could easily knit it in my sleep. I’ve also been using the pattern to teach friends how to knit and read a pattern. I love this yarn! I've made blankets with various colours of the sierra chunky and the random variation of the colourway makes for a beautiful end product. Thick texture, easy to use and doesn't split. I highly recommend.

I love using Bluebell which is a crepe wool which knits up beautifully and easily. I use it to make a range of soft toys and my favourite is the sleepy mouse. Bluebell is machine-washable and will always be a go-to for me. The range of colours at The Yarn Store is wonderful and great value.

Best of all, it’s knitted by me and I keep people in a job that produces and sells quality yarn. Highly recommend. Only problem, the dark shades are hard to knit at night. I love this yarn! It’s super soft and has a lovely haze, meaning I don’t have to hold it together with mohair, which is great! I love the silk content in it as it adds strength and extra softness. The alpaca is warm but never itchy, which is awesome because I’m very sensitive to wool. The price is fantastic for the quality and the fibre content. It has become my new favourite yarn! I will upload more photos when I’ve completed my project in it.

Just a few more rows and ready to transfer to circular needles, which are in transit at the moment. Wool a little bit fluffy, but pretty pretty colours. Not sure they will suit an 81 year old, but who cares!

I started knit tin this jacket 20 years ago and found it with my embroidery ufos so decided 2026 was the year to complete it. I got up to the last sleeve and realised I didn’t have enough wool to complete it, then found Jet had been discontinued. Googled and found your store and bought plain navy to knit both sleeves but left the cuff in the original yarn. Still to sew it together but I think it looks great !
