My 2003 EZGO ST 350 needed a new power plant. The Vegas Carts kit for the 22HP Predator fit the bill. Any time you start modifying original equipment you're going to run into issues. This was no different. All of the components from the wiring harness to the engine cradle are of high quality. We had some clearance issues, not from underneath the cart, but in the body, specifically seat bottom to exhaust. Part of it is the seat is so worn that it sags when you sit on it. I used the Predator 459 into a 1992 Yamaha. I used a 780 clutch with a pulley for the generator/alternator. The 459 is too wide because of the oil pump that is part of the motor to align properly. If you have a Yamaha use the 440cc motor. I think it would work fine in other carts where the drive belt is on the passenger side. As for the parts that were supplied they worked fine.

Everything bolts right up. Literally had the cradle installed in less than an hour. Predator 420 bolted right up, makes it easy for alignment and belt tension adjustments.

The engine cradle was a fairly easy install though the anti-roll bar took some work. The engine fots perfect and the cradle is plenty strong to hold the engine in place. The clutch, belt, and header all work wonderfully.

I had to modify the bracket slightly to fit my predator 420cc. I slotted the hole on the drive clutch side and drilled two holes twords the top of the bracket to bolt it to the gas tank mounts. I also had to widen the two bottom slots that go to the motor mount bolts because i used the Vegas Carts billet dog bone bolts. To get the starter pulleys to line up, i shimmed the starter pulley out with a couple washers and sanded off the round pads on the two starter pivot mounts.

Billet adapter fits great. I didn't like that the nuts that came with it stuck out past the sides. I bought smaller stainless steel nuts and tapped them out bigger to fit the studs. It would be nice if the choke lever hold down for the Predator 420cc were included. I use my golf cart in the winter and expect to have to use the choke from time to time.

On the muffler you need to add an extension to prevent putting hole in body. Also could use some kind of rubber mounting if there was any room . Can the shaft to the govenor b cut off to add room for engine mounting.

The 625 kit came quickly after I ordered it but the head was damaged in shipping. A couple of calls and pics sent and VC sent a new stripped head. I swapped the parts and installed the kit in my EZGO Marathon. Everything went smoothly and it fired right up. I have a couple of things to work out with the cart before I can drive it but nothing to do with the kit.

Bought the big block engine and kit for a 1992 ds clubcar. The engine and rest of kit fit like it was oem built.. The only thing you have to watch is that the throttle cable doesn't rest on exhaust pipe, it will melt cable. I made a bracket to keep cable from pipe. My cart does 40 mph with 22 inch tires according to my GPS app. On my phone. Well worth the money....

I used this clutch on a Gator 550 SUV to replace original 16hp Briggs motor with a 22 hp Predator motor. Started with Comet clutch and could not get any low rpm end power. This clutch engages quick and takes off! Seems to top off at 25 mph, but I think I could adjust to get more.

Beautifully made billet pulley! It's bigger diameter spins my club car ds starter generator faster for better charging. A nice plus. I do wish it had one side of the center milled out to go over the shoulder on the predator 420cc shaft. That would get the starter pulley to line up better. A specific pulley for the 420cc would be nice too.

I bought this kit to convert a 36v electric cart to a gas cart.. and when I finally was able to start the engine for the first time boy was I impressed! Talk about an upgrade. I have a few stock gas carts at work and this baby will blow them out of the water! I did have to lower the idle speed of the engine a tad, but no real complaints.

This company and product are great! The power is unbelievable and it turns your golf cart into a powerhouse of fun. I ran into issues during the install, but all diagrams and information to resolve it are on their website. I even had a cracked valve cover I didn't notice until after installed and they promptly sent me a new one at no charge. Has way more get up and go now and go's at about 28+mph (before only 21 max) which is fast enough on a golf buggy. Took a bit of adjusting to get the "ease into take off" back into the accelerator, it was way to sensitive, jerky. The exhaust system was the most difficult to tweak. The motor was way to loud for ease of speaking and listening to music, and not disturbing your r.v. park neighbors. Bought the big block kit for my 91 clubcar , very straight forward install. Everything fit nice. Only thing I would change is how throttle cable and exhaust bracket is set up, I melted my new throttle cable shearing on exhaust pipe, ordered new cable and making a bracket to keep cable from exhaust pipe. Great running engine, lots of torque.

Both the predator kit and the tach work great. the tab on the front of the cradle was a little off, kinda crooked, but i'm not going to run the Baja 1000 so? No problems at all.

Install was easy only wished that it came with a pre wired wiring harness. Wiring was no problem for me but I can see where some people have had an issue with it. Overall it's a good product and have already recommended it to others.

I did a predator 420 swap in a club car. watched a bunch of you tube videos and did some research. I opted for vegas carts comet 15/16 clutch after emailing them for a bit of info, I also got their 15/16 belt. While the price was higher than an after market 1 3/16 clutch which would require also changing the driven clutch, or buying an adapter and cutting off and tapping the shaft on the predator engine.
