Product does work! All you do is plug it in and you will see a faint blue light, it does not give off any sound just walk away from it and let it do its job. Every few days open it up and dump out all of the pesky little critters. Still don't know how its going to hold up over time but as for now im not dissapointed.

This is my first bug zapper and I am pleasantly surprised. The cord is long and makes it convenient to place it in several different places outside. It's not like, 15 feet or anything, but it's long enough to be convenient. The trap on the bottom for collecting dead bugs is cool and easy to twist off and remove. Not all the bugs end up in the trap, but a lot of them do. LOVE IT!!
