I wear work gloves for gardening and working daily. before I found Vermonters a pair of gloves would last a month or two. Vermonters have lasted nearly 2 years and still going strong. I love the fit and durability.

The gloves meet the tests so far. Two weekends worth of use shoveling coal on the Mt. Washington Cog Railway are shown in the photo. The gloves are soft, supple and rugged. The real test will be how they hold up through Columbus Day.

I LOVE these gloves! I just wish they had the short fingers when I purchased these, but would not trade them for anything. The suppleness of the leather is just beautiful. Always keep them oiled.

I sent these gloves in on a Friday for repairs and I had them back, on my hands before lunch time on the following Saturday. This was the 2nd time I had these repaired and am extremely satisfied with this service. If you’re on the fence about buying these gloves, I’d highly recommend them…Treat yo self! Thank you guys for the awesomeness and great workmanship. Keep making sweet azzz gloves!

These are the best gloves I've ever used, EVER. They are the only thorn-proof glove I've had. My 'back forty' has plenty of scrub, including buckthorn and prickly ash, and no gloves yet have withstood these thorns. Until now. Thanks!

I love em! These gloves are sturdily constructed, well thought out, and a little quirky. After being treated generously with the beeswax they were nice and dry even after many powder tumbles. They don't seem to mention it on the website, but there's a small leather loop on the inside of the cuff to attached glove leashes which is very convenient. I used them on a ski trip to CO when it was COLD, about 5-15F at the base and colder as we ascended. These work fine at these temperatures assumin...

I love these gloves! I use them for splitting and handling wood, and putting logs on the fire. They’re dense and super tough—they withstand the sharpest splinters and even the heat of a fire. Now that they’re beautifully broken in, I sent them back to VG to repair small holes that had appeared in the finger tips and got them back perfectly repaired! Great gloves, great company

The design, feel and fit are one of a kind. I’m getting used to the finger tips and how the gloves are stitched but I hope that part breaks in over time for a better dexterity while grabbing things. If that happens I’ll be completely sold! Cheers to made in America! Don’t stop or compromise what you all are doing.

These gloves, at first, were the strangest thing I’d ever seen-One of a kind. Before putting them to work they got conditioned and bathed in Skidmore’s Beeswax Waterproofing. It was an awkward break-in period as the gloves felt a bit clumsy but now, after some use they have started to take shape and feeling more and more natural. These gloves are clearly ‘made-to-last’. I am looking forward to seasons of use.

I purchased my pair to use while skiing this winter and so far I have been very impressed with their thermal capabilities and overall fit and finish. These are high-quality gloves that turn heads wherever you go!

I totally love the glove and the liners but it drives me crazy that every time I take the gloves of the liners pull off in a kinda funny/not so funny way. What I’m trying to say is that every time I put the glove on I have to remove the liner, put it on first then the glove. Kind of a pain in the butt-inski. Other than that I think it’s the best glove I’ve ever put on my hands and wouldn’t hesitate to bye another pair as well as recommend them to everyone on the planet. Thank you for taking such...

Great spring skiing glove. A bit chilly on the lift (28F and wind 8mph) but when actually skiing it was comfy - hands did not get sweaty - breathes very well and dexterity is excellent. I would recommend sizing up to allow for an air pocket between your finger and glove tip.

Sam hates it but I have a work pair and a pair that I take off to do any work. Softest gloves I've ever had. Fit perfectly if you get them a little tight at first. I use them in the city for biking and feel bad for all the people I see with cold hands everywhere. I go from unlined ones to lined and if my hands are cold its too cold to bike anyways. Good to 10 deg on the old liners (I'm sure the insulated ones go even better). I don't work hard enough to ever put holes in these things but (with t...

Took these out for the first time on my AIARE 1 and they were amazing. The liners kept me warm and the leathers were great on their own during high activity.

I have many pairs of gloves and these are by far my favorite. I primarily wear them while riding lifts and while on patrol. I typically stash the liners in my pockets for the coldest of days. They have broken in nicely and the design with the seam on top of the hand really provides great dexterity for this type of glove. I have found if touring with them they work well but if you’re wearing only the liner the gloves can get quite cold hanging out in the pack. I really love the heritage of this c...

Bought the Vermont glove after torching other pairs of leather work gloves not just the cheap hardware store ones either. I work at a state forest doing maintenance work so needless to say I get into all sorts of tough work and needed a pair of gloves to suit that need. These do just that. They are tough yet very soft and warm when paired with their wool liners. My only thing I’ve noticed I have to do is oil the fingertips of the glove often. For some reason my left hand middle fingertip has wor...

The first step if you're someone teaching your wife how to ski: make sure she's comfortable. The second step: make sure she's stylish. These gloves did both. My wife is tiny (5'2" 105lbs) so she had to get custom gloves, and y'all were super helpful. Her hands were almost too small for the gloves but they made it work. My wife absolutely loves these mittens, meaning selfishly I get the best of both worlds: my wife now loves skiing, and she talks about getting ME a pair of these gloves. Can't wai...

Got a pair shipped promptly with oil and wool liners a couple few years ago. I treated them a few times with the oil and they are comfortable and soft. Also incredibly tough. Bought an old neglected farm. Since then I’ve been clearing several acres of bramble and trash willow, freeing old barns from blackberries, used a winch to haul out ax felled logs to clear the overgrown pond, etc etc, I wear them every day. They are dexterous enough to let me run my chainsaw and mill. I also wear them snow...

Quality product made in the U.S.A. I go through regular work gloves in a matter of months if not sooner depending on the type of work. These gloves are a worthwhile investment.

I bought my siesta pair only a couple years ago and certainly didn’t need new ones…they are awesome!! However when I found out that Vermont gloves was giving 50% of the sales of the Vermont strong gloves to support the folks that had been impacted by the flooding, I decided that maybe I could use another pair. I only hope I live long enough to use them!! You need gloves…they may seem pricey to a lot of folks; but worth every penny!!! Support a great American company!!

Recently my daughter was on her 2nd day with a brand new pair of Jefflo mitts while skiing at Schweitzer resort in northern Idaho and was attacked by a coyote that jumped on her out of nowhere. It first bit her leg but she grabbed it by the scruff of the neck and then it went for her hand and wrist. While the animal managed to get its teeth into her, it could have been much much worse. She believes the mitts were what enabled her to wrestle the coyote off of her and get away. Anyhow, I thought ...

The best of the best. It took us a while to make the jump, because we are really rough on our gloves. Wish we had made the jump sooner, we would have saved money by spending a bit more upfront. Keep up the good work!

Loving my new Flatlander glove. I was shipped the incorrect size originally and Vermont Glove made it right immediately at no cost to me. There was quite a bit of emailing back and forth to get the right size for my husband's Vermonter and it ended up being perfect (he's loving his pair as well). Recently told an Oregon friend about Vermont Glove and she has already placed an order for her husband's birthday gift! I won't hesitate to recommend to others.

Recently bought a pair of Flatlanders because of how impressed I was by The Vermonters I bought a few years back. I really like that the Flatlanders are more flexible, can't wait to see if they are as thorn proof as the Vermonter.
