It’s salt plus “savor” think of it like “Sazon” (salt+ umami+ touch of smoke) minus the extra sodium. This is great on fish, veggies, beans. Cut the salt in your recipe by half. When you season meat/fish dust about 8 inches away from the meat to get the entire surface area because to close you won’t get it all seasoned.

For me, the Umami taste took a bit of getting used to, but now I really like it. Being a salt lover it's nice to know that I'm cutting my sodium intake while still getting the saltiness.

I am really enjoying my green salt. I have high blood pressure, so I decided to try it. I do not miss using regular salt at all. It tastes great, and I am getting less sodium intake. I love salted peanuts, but now I am buying unsalted peanuts and adding green salt. It is also great on popcorn.

At first taste, I was surprised at how salty Green Salt really is. I found an old spice shaker jar for it, as shaking it out of the jar is much easier than spooning it out of the bag. I now use it on nearly everything instead of salt -- I particularly like it sprinkled on apples and hard boiled eggs, and on rice instead of soy sauce. Good to know that it has so much less sodium than salt and is so much healthier. The two bags should last quite a while. Thanks for a great product!

I have used it as a salt accent in chocolate chip orange rolls with great results. It was awesome as a paste of green salt, fresh garlic, black and red pepper on spatchcocked chicken, over a bed of potato wedges sprinkled with additional green salt (husband Loved the potatoes!) no other salt needed. At first glance, or sniff, it smelled like a fresh cut lawn, very grassy. Does not tasted like that though! It is not as salty as say, salt, but there is no weird after taste like you get with KCl. Although I have not fully transitioned to your Sea Salt, when I have used it, I've been very pleased with the results. At this point (still a new experience) I am still trying to determine appropriate amounts. The GreenSalt was promptly shipped and the first thing I did was open the bag and take a pinch for a taste. It has a nice salty flavor with an extra hint of something savory. I added it to my own seasoning mix consisting of smoked paprika, rosemary, lemon crystals and black pepper (instead of the salt that I usually use) and it is great. I'll definitely use it from now own.

Green Salt is amazing on veggies!! I'm growing swiss chard, kale, broccoli, and spinach. Steam them, add a little olive oil, then hit with the Green Salt. SOOO good. The flavor of tomatoes are really enhanced by the Green Salt. We like it on fish, and hot buttered potatoes and rice. Green Salt has really helped us cut back on our sodium usage. We get all the flavor and don't wake up in the morning parched, with dry mouth. My husband and I highly recommend trying Green Salt.

I have used Green Salt in soups and on steamed veggies and it tastes much like salt. I don't taste anything remotely sea-like, as I have heard some comment. It does have an earthy, plant flavor that is very subtle. After all it is made from plants! A great product that I will buy again.

Love this as a finishing salt or in cold dishes. It add great umami without adding lots of sodium. I make faux tuna salad and this adds an extra layer of taste. I don't use it to cook with but since I use it to finish just about everything we use very little celtic salt now.

We are brand new to this product, and have used it twice in dishes for meals for 8-10 people. Read the information on amounts to use on the package - important, b/c its salinity per volume is not the same as table sale/sea salt. Very delicious dishes resulted! Enhances dishes as salt does, and imparts a slight umami tone as well. We like it!!
