What a transformation! These floor to ceiling built in bookcases were a stained brown pine that made the room dark. It would have been a huge undertaking if I had to sand and prime before painting, but, with One Step paint I used Clean Slate and could get right to painting with Weybridge White.

Had two small old school desks and was thinking time to get rid of them but decided to try to repurpose in my living room under wall sconces. Chose the almond daze to give enough contract to white walls but not too loud. The paint smelled good, covered so well over very damaged top surface and did no sanding! Love it!

Obsessed with the transformation of our built ins using this paint. I was originally worried the color would not be dark enough after seeing the color in the can/when it initially is applied but it definitely darkens as it dries and becomes a gorgeous navy. We have transformed several things in our home using the One Step Paint including our kitchen cabinets and have 0 complaints. It’s incredible easy to use and has held up well without chipping. Can’t wait for our next project using this paint!

A Good Man Is Hard To Find is a dark gray. It's rich and dense. I love it! The photo shows it as the background in this Prayer Board. The stencil is available from A Maker's Studio. You can purchase a kit to make the prayer board or just the stencil. I had a local carpenter make this frame for me. He copied the one I purchased from A Maker's Studio in the kit. If you make the Prayer Board, or for any project, I highly recommend this paint, and this color.

The nylon brush is so nice! In this photo, of a sample trim in OS vintage affliction with light and dark antiquing waxes and dust of ages. OS Paint goes on smooth and AH brush cleans easily, I’ve only had to use water and a in free cloth to get it clean. Waxed and dust of ages were all added with AH chip brush. Minimal sanding was required. Highly recommend AH nylon brush. It works so well!

I followed the bulk of Amy’s video to create a fortuny fabric look on a custom king size headboard, and it was my first experience using the gel inks. They are so easy to work with and work perfectly in conjunction with the A Makers Studio mesh stencils. I had to order more because they are so great and I understand they’re fantastic on fabrics.

At first I wasn’t certain about the color as it went on gray, however, within 24 hours it cured to the perfect black! The nicest black chalk paint I’ve used to date!

I'm getting ready to stencil onto this board I've painted with One Step Paint in black. Isnt it rich and truly black? I love the texture and coverage. I used the 4" foam roller and the matching roller handle to apply the paint. It has 2 coats. The density of black is perfect.

My old 1 1/2 " angled brush and new one! Happy me! It paints beautifully without streaks or lines and washes out extremely well. It's comfortable to hold, gets into corners and edges perfectly! Ive already used it, but it still looks almost brand new! Reasonably priced. You cant go wrong!

I used Bauhouse Buff to prime these little project pieces. They needed to be painted white because when I paint these pieces with craft paint, the brown wood and black edges are extremely difficult to cover. Now, I'm ready for the fun stuff! Note: there's only one coat of Bauhouse Buff on most of these pieces. Interested in the projects? Foundations Decor. You'll want to prime yours with any One Step white too.

This green reminds me of the classroom chalkboard from my childhood. I used it on this Prayer Board (stencil from A Maker's Studio) because it's meant to be written on with chalk. Not only is the color perfect, it went on so smoothly and covered well in 2 coats. I used Amy Howard's 4" foam roller and roller handle.

My daughter wanted to paint her bed for years and was scared to try. It was black and had pretty details that couldn’t be seen. We used this one step paint and it blew our minds! The coverage is excellent, it took only two light coats! Remember…the bed was black before. The smell of the paint is wonderful. Every time you enter the room it smells like a soft vanilla. I will be purchasing more!

This is such a pretty grayish black color and I really loved it. I mixed it with Bauhaus Buff to create a couple shades of gray to use as scumbles on my countertop painting project. I bought the turkey feather - but I chickened out on the veining! The video was excellent but I didn't trust myself to put it on my counter on my first project. In the end, it didn't need it - it was really pretty as is.

I used the black paint to paint a pair of Berkenstock sandals that were a god-awful brown color so I never wore them. I was told by my shoe repair guy that he didn't dye sandals black because it would come off on the feet. Your paint went on beautifully (it was a smooth, not suede surface) and they look like brand new black sandals! And it does not "come off on my feet." :) Now I wear them all the time! Thank you!

This is my child's antique roll top desk. It looks a little crusty but that is the look I wanted. Like it had been at the bottom of the sea. I used Copycat to transfer the pictures into the wood. I used it on the roll top as well. Drawer have pictures of open sea shells with pearls glued in:)

Cracked patina works great. We completely sanded down this ornate piece, my client was going for a coastal look. I stained the wood. Mixed the cracked patina with a bit of water which makes it go farther. Let dry. Painted Luxe gray a section at a time and did my pull off. It does not take but a minute for the one step to start drying. I’m going to add a brown one step to the doors once the homeowner gets chairs reupholstered to add a little more zing to it. But easy to use and looks great.

The beeswax is so easy to use! It dries quickly and gives the paint a richer tone. I think the paint is great by itself, but this wax adds an delicate shine that is not TOO shiny.

I applied 3 coats of black one step, and each coat was better and better at blending in the strokes. After 3 Rd coat it all came together. 1st coat I panicked and could not go back to white. Glad I kept going.
