In the middle of doing a kitchen remodel and painting my original cabinets, we decided to add an island with some secondhand cabinets as a base. I stamped a set of napkins with the A Maker’s Studio wreath stamp and acrylic paint that I had on hand. I made my own mix of dark green and gold. Luxe Grey is a beautiful, very light true grey. It almost looks white until you have it up against something actually white, and then the grey really pops. It took 2 coats to paint over my dark cherry wood furniture and I love how it turned out.

This is the first project I have done in many years. I enjoyed working with the paint. I learned a lot with this one. The paint is actually pretty forgiving. I had several drips where I applied it to heavily… they sanded off easily once dry. As you have stated on your site, “one step does not mean one coat”. I will be purchasing more of your products now that I have gotten my feet wet with the first one.

I purchased this late 60s early 70s wood and black marble buffet at an estate sale to use as an entertainment center. We cleaned and polished the marble and painted the base this beautiful turquoise.
