I bought the size medium. It did shrink as they are made of 100% cotton, but it still fits. My daughter bought one 3 sizes too big and it shrunk as well but looks fine, just more of a baggy fit. Evidently not all the shirts are made in the same place. One was made in Haiti and one in another country, so that would probably be why the size differences.
