This rating is for the .5" earrings. I bought the .3" several years ago, and wore them almost constantly. But, I lost one recently and when I looked to replace it, the .3" were out of stock.
I decided to give the .5" a try. When they arrived, 1 (out of 4) was slightly bent so it wouldn't close properly. Customer service quickly guided me through bending it back so it latches securely. However, the larger size does come open more easily than the smaller version, so I frequently wake up missing ...

The first day I wore them my ears began to burn and itch a lot which was odd because Boma earrings are so comfortable to wear and I have no issues with them irritating. So took them out and washed them with soap and water and tried again today and a little sore by the end of the day but ok. They are awesome ...
