Having just hosted a mama dog who liked to take naps on the couch for a month, this slipcover was washed after she went onto her new home. Wash in cool water on a gentle cycle. When the large size bed arrived for my 45 pound Vizsla, Scarlett I was worried. I thought it would be too large; or maybe she wouldn't want to leave her place on the sofa next to the family and go the the bed. I was wrong. She LOVES her bed. It took no coaxing at all for her to try it out. Whether she is curled in a ball in the middle or stretched out across the bed lengthwise, she is happy and so are we!
