Gave shirt to a middle school student who recently lost his uncle (Army Veteran) to suicide. He was very close to his uncle and his death has hit the student extremely hard! The student grinned ear to ear when I gave him the shirt while explaining what “Til Valhalla” means. Smiles from this student have been few and far between lately, so to see him smile like this was truly special!

I wore the metal one daily and as you can see in the picture it’s showing some wear, I know wear the paracord bracelet in its place. I was formerly an LPN at the Lawton VA outpatient clinic and I headed up the suicide prevention for the clinic. I was recognized for going above and beyond for my Veterans. I had to medically retire from the VA but still support organizations in the mission.

I fully support our veterans serving or retired. Without them we wouldn't have freedom. The ripples you see a flag waving is not the wind. It's the last breath of a soldier who has passed serving our country. To many soldiers come home broken and lost and think suicide is the only way out. Love them especially the Some Therapist have Four Legs ; Be Kind helps me to remember to be kind to others around me; I don’t know their background and I don’t know what is Bothering them.( case in point, a couple of days ago I gave this homeless Veteran several Pairs of Socks, especially after I found out how he became homeless— it angers me how people here who supposedly have a title of helping Homeless Veterans didn’t lift a finger to help him. I live in Danville Illinois and the name of this place is Cannon Place , Danville Veterans Housing on the Danville VA Illiana Healthcare System Station. We recently had a veteran suicide and he was a Marine and that Marines name is Danny Earl Campbell. He was an amazing Veteran and his suicide impacts our community. I befriended his amazing family who served their country with honor and his mother is the most beautiful humble woman I have met. We will never forget Danny or his family.

I absolutely love this. Sometimes I will glance at it when I’m having a bad day and it gives me the courage to dig down and carry on. My only very minor critique is I wish the clasp / sizing mechanism was a little different, wish it was stronger. I only say that with being a mechanic I worry about that part of it breaking.
