The advice seemed to contradict itself - us on sk8n/hair/ don't use on skin. I went ahead and used it. Not sure it can have a more healing effect ir f it just soothes it briefly. I like it though. Also I need a big soap dish for it !!!! I'll let yoiu know when I've used it longer. Karin
