I am a novice spoon player who has tried both metal and wooden spoons. I found it difficult to control the handles to make the spoons beat together properly. This Heritage instrument solves this difficulty with the one-piece handle making it quite easy to play. They also sound very is sound very nice. I am very pleased with my Traditional Medium Spoons. They are very easy to play and have a nice feel in my hands. These are my second set of spoons, and they are a nice addition to my Large Spoons which have more tonal variety but require a bit more practice for advanced techniques. They're both a lot of fun!

Bought the Medium Spoons as a Christmas gift for my Dad. My 8 year old daughter tested them out and has taken them over. She loves them. She's been playing nonstop and getting pretty good at it too. When I reminded her, those are for your grandfather, she said, OK I’ll just ask Santa for my own spoons. So Santa will be adding it to the list for sure.

They shipped it in such a timely manner. And it is so well made. We have loved learning how to play it along with songs and on its own. Our 4-year-old also totally loves playing with it. I was a little nervous letting him play with it because I didn't want it to get broken, but it feels so solidly made and that makes me happy that I don't have to worry about him busting it.
