Wow! The fast shipping was appreciated! My son had asked for musical spoons and to be honest, I didn't even know they were a thing! These are beautifully crafted, they look great but they sound even better! I bought the medium as the larger were sold out. I was concerned they'd be too small as my son is 16 but they are perfect. The spoons are beautifully handcrafted, and the sound is as represented in the You Tube training video.. 7 year old grandson was quite fascinated with his gift. Whether they will be played on a regular basis is yet to be determined. Quite a bit of overload on Christmas morning!

Nicely made and a bargain at the asking price. Tonally awesome and capable of an amazing variety of sounds from what amounts to only two pieces of wood. I decided to go a little further with the sanding as some areas were a little rough and I radiused all the 90 degree angle edges just to make them a little more like a bar of soap rather than saw cut wood. If the makers had done this extra work the spoons would have to cost twice the price. I recommend that anyone that loves to make music......

If you have never played an instrument, you can play this. Even quicker to manage than a hand drum. The size is big enough to play easily and small enough to slip into a purse, pocket, or pack. The small and large sets have their advantages but the medium set is loud, sharp, more varied in pitch, and seems to have a more resonant decay. I like all the sizes but the medium size would be my first choice, especially if just getting one set.
