Pan is great, heats evenly and took the seasoning like a champ using the oven method that Jed has in one of the tutorial videos he makes. I like the size and shape of this pan and use it as a large frying pan.

Purchased both a Demeyere Industry Wok and a de Buyer Mineral B Fry Pan. Was fortunate enough to get these as demo equipment although the wok looked like it had never been used. The fry pan had been beautifully seasoned by Jed. To start, the Demeyere wok was replacing a similar aged Teflon-coated pan which was breaking down. I was concerned that the weight of the new wok would be significantly different making it difficult for my wife to use. This ended up not being an issue as the handle nice...

I have come to love cast iron so much I bought this size mostly just to toast spices and nuts and seeds. Of course I can also use it for small portions -- like eggs -- and it works just beautifully like my other Lodge cast iron skillet. The seasoning out of the box is fine, but it really gets better over time. Plus the size is not heavy at all!

We had a coffee and latte emergency. My very old and reliable Jura needed replacing. Jed and his staff provided excellent service to pick a new Jura and Jed had it delivered in rapid fashion for my staff to continue enjoying their lattes. As a bonus, he personally looked after getting the old Jura to a Jura depot for repair and back to me with amazing personal service. We know have a second machine for staff at another location. Thank you so much to the Cook Culture Team. You are amazing!

This is a great product, found the video on how to season a new de Buyer carbon steel pan on the internet. I waited to season my pan until I order this paste, took the time to do a 5 day cycle of seasoning… so glad I did, let it cure for 24 hours between each one. Talk about slick! Thanks for a great product!

I’ve been using my deMeyer industry pots for a week now. I purchased them to be used on my induction cook top. The quality of these pots is evident in even heat and retention. And thanks to Jed’s videos I am now cooking eggs on stainless steel. No sticking! Highly recommend this product. I think of this pots set as an investment more than a purchase.

This truly is a great deal. I love the seasoning paste, it's very affordable and also extremely effective (works REALLY well!) And the "fine" chain mail is crucial to have for cleaning my cast iron, as it's delicate enough to not disturb the seasoning. A great overall buy for the beginner, or master chef.

Looking forward to using the stock pot for more than boiling pasta water. The heft & heat distribution promises some nice “large” batch sauce simmerings. The fry pan should have been a purchase far earlier in our 46 year marriage (I’m a slow learner concerning start with quality cooking tools). Looking forward to making omelettes tomorrow morning. I already know this is going to a pleasurable experience. Cleanup already is ...

Cooked my first curry with my Staub pot and noticed a difference right away in taste and texture. The heat distribution is unmatched and reduced my cook time by at least 10min. A new house hold staple in our collection.

I recently took advantage of CC‘s legendary coated frypan trade-in event, and was so happy to be able to buy this 26-cm matte black frypan, which is part of the same collection as my 30-cm Staub grill pan, purchased earlier from CC on strong recommendation from America’s Test Kitchen review program. I know, after a bit more use/seasoning, this 26-cm frypan will be another go-to of mine. Thanks Jed and co. for hosting this trade-in event year after year!

I am quite impressed; similar notes to pour over I make by hand; but much hotter with the insulated craft. Tips: - Pay attention to the craft pouring instructions as it is more tilt and release, than a pour motion. - Managed to make a mess when the craft was rotated 90 degrees while making coffee and thus not in the correct alignment.

IS IT GETTING HOT IN HERE. Is not something your lodge cast iron pan will ever say. Really great size for my apartment style kitchen - this serves a real work horse position for the pans on deck. From finishing and serving pasta - to deep frying bake goods or means the joy of the iron is the heat is throughout and stable. Using this on an electric stove and couldn't be any happier! Thanks Cook Culture for all the advice regarding care over the long term as well! -iain

Love this pan. I also have a new carbon steel pan but I find this is a great size for some things especially vegetables. The Field Cast Iron looks really sharp and performs well. It was easy to season and cleanup is a breeze. I got the size eight and really like the weight because it is easy for my wife to handle.

This pan lives up to the great ratings it always seems to get. I have got it to be nonstick with a little time and effort. The size is really nice for a family or just two people. It looks great and should last a long time.

This is a fabulous little machine that we use to make espressos, americanos and lattes (using a separate frother). It replaced a manual espresso maker that had too many steps in its operation and clean up. The ENA 4 is a great machine for homes that don't drink a lot of coffees each day and is highly recommended! And delivery from Cook Culture was very quick!

Great pan, works as good or better than any non-stick pan I own. This is my new go-to pan as it is essentially non:stick with excellent heat distribution (understanding that you must have patience to wait for the pan to reach temperature). Once the pan was properly seasoned I was away to the races.

Ever found yourself needing a pan that can fit two full heads of cauliflower, 3 pounds of beets, a litre of coconut milk, and a cup worth of spices for your 8 servings of cauliflower beet curry? If yes, this is the pan you are looking for. I’m not even joking, this pan can handle it all. Holds and distributes heat well, is oven friendly and the extra handle makes it a breeze moving it around while hot and heavy. Extremely easy to clean. Recommend.

This is a beautiful pot aesthetically; and practically I could cook rice with it in old fashioned way. The rice cooked was fluffy and fragrant, close to those I ate in my childhood. I like it better than my Korean brand electrical rice cooker. My sister wanted to buy the same one but unfortunately the red colour pot was sold out.

I own a restaurant for 23 years, still do. I have had a few pots and pan over the years. These pots are just great. The heat distribution is excellent. They are non-stick when used right and clean in a jiffy. Use them every day and worth every penny I spent and there were many pennies! Saying that wouldn’t take back any of those pennies. Keep them, I am 100% satisfied.

I started with just one of these. It does such a good job that I bought a second. I fill the lid with warm water before baking and preheat the base as the oven heats. I do.p the water and place on the base when I drop the dough in from my proofing basket. The steam really helps the bread expand.

I bought this square pan in a 9 x 9 because I often use the recipe book series "Oh She Glows" and some recipes call for this size. I would just use my 8 x 8 but the bars or brownies would turn out too thick and the texture was compromised, as I would just guess to lengthen the cooking time in the oven. Lesson learned, if you expect to get the intended result, you've got to have the equipment that's intended! Invest fellow bakers!

I restored my grandmother’s griswold number 8 skillet a couple of years ago. I’ve been learning how to use it ever since. Sold my Staub grill pan and skillet and replaced them with my new Field skillet … the first cast iron pan I have had in many years. So far it has been prefect. Well seasoned after only half a dozen uses, super easy to clean up and is very quickly becoming my go to pan.

Started with two stovetop seasonings using salt, oil and potato skins. Rice bran oil for first seasoning, avocado for the second, ghee used for the cook. Then first cook of pan fries followed by two fried eggs with zero sticking of fries or eggs. Apartment style 24" coil stove 8" burner with Kuhn Rikon 9" aluminum flame tamer set to half for seasoning then 1/3 for the cook.

It was only after watching Jed’s YouTube videos that I realized I needed carbon steel pans. I’ve probably sent 6 or 7 non-stick pans to the landfill over the years and even though I use a steel wok and cast iron frying pan, not to mention several carbon steel Japanese knives, it never even occurred to me that these pans are the solution. The two pans pictured replace two non-stick pans and I have one more to go. Highly recommended and do follow Jed’s instructions on how best to season them.

works like a hot damn. even if you don't like to clean, you might not not stop with your just your pans when you have it! Worked great on the gas fixings on my range, oven racks especially in the hard to access crannies... Looking forward not to have bits of breaking down steel scrubby embedded in my skin anymore when doing similar tasks. A must give to all young folk launched from the nest so not to waste money on a lifetime of lesser scrubbers.

I love this Oxo compost bin. It is true to the product description, especially regarding the "smooth interior walls prevent food and liquids from building up and make cleanup simple".
