I love the BG 6500. Especially for ocean bottom fishing. Each crank bring it up 5 feet. That saves a lot of wear and tear on the arms.

Received fishing rod in long square box that had fold wrinkles like it was bent. Fortunately the bent section was at the handle section. USPS is very hard on long items shipped, shipper should use round rigid tubes to send expensive rods. I gave the rod a 4 / 5 stars I'm giving shipping 1 / 5 stars. I will think twice before I order another rod.

Ordered 2 rods. Arrived in cardboard tube with no signs external damage. Well packaged and protected. Foam handles on both rods were damaged. I considered return but did not have time before a trip to The Virgin Islands. I believe they were packed well and damage occurred before shipping. Other than the damage they look fine.

I love the reel. Haven't used it yet but boy it looks good. I actually bought the Chaos SW-50-100 bent butt rod they built for it. The combo looks BAD-A.. Can't wait to use it. The only thing I have to say negatively is I told them numerous times I wanted it spooled. They didn't do it and that is after 4-5 conversations regarding it.

When package received, I thought cloth bag which encased the sheath was the sheath, looked like the sheath was the sheath made of cloth not leather...I submitted a claim for a refund...Finally I open the plastic covering to discover Nice Leather sheath under cloth packing bag... I received an emailin the meantime, the the leather sheath was not returnable....I think that should be disclosed when you order an item...like the sheath, very disappointed in Chaos disclosure
