Have to say first that my dog was caged for 6 months b4 rescue and her paws and nails were bleeding from claws splintered. After two years of vets, supplements and some relief but I couldn’t see how these clippers couldn’t splinter the nails so I tried another well known name brand but it wasn’t powerful, had sanding drums instead of a diamond grinder. Charged it up and used it the day it arrived. I have a 50# pitdoodle that hates to have her nails trimmed. This grinder worked very well for the first time and no blood! She still didn't like it even though it is quiet, but it made me feel better using it as she squirms a lot. I am glad I purchased it and would do so again. I have already recommended it to friends.

We have a very skittish cat that had become very matted and wouldn't allow us to brush her. We researched and found these clippers that were advertised as very quiet and they are. She sat very still and allowed us to shave her back. You can tell she feels much better with all of that gone and we didn't get bit as we usually have in the past. Wonderful product.

The PetGRINDX is stylish and quiet as advertised. It’s a wonderful machine. Unfortunately my dog will not stand for nail grinding. Neither the vet nor pet salon could grind her nails. We hoped that by getting The PetGRINDX we could do it ourselves. No dice. Back to the vet for advice.

It is quiet and does not have a heavy vibration. It also cuts well. My puppy is not thrilled with it but I plan to do a little each day until he gets used to it but I was able to shave his ears a little bit on the first try. He is a yorkie puppy and very tiny so to train his ears to stand up straight I keep them shaved. I am very happy with this purchase so far.

I would like to see a skid proof material at the bottom inside, for the dogs paws and nails. I had an old catnip felt pillow for my cats. I use that. But it would be better if it was built in. Even like the outside material lined inside , on top of the stiff support.

This is a well built pet clipper. So, why did I not give it 5 stars? Because it is not as quiet as I'd hoped. I do have another clipper that is <70db - but, is not as well built as the Clip My Paws clipper. And, it is much quieter. So - it actually doesn't do me any good to be very well built, if my cat won't let me near her with it.
