I had an old black felt hat & was going to a tea party. We were asked to add a bit of whimsy. I hand sewed the peacock trim to the edge of the brim.. in the back there is gross grain ribbon so. I created a flower like puff with the tulle & hot glued it to the top of the ribbon. One of the rose appliqués hot glued below the puff to add a spot of color well, only 2 of out of 50 were whimsical. Little clip on chapeau’s were provided by the hostess.

There is nothing you can find that is better than the fringe and braid from Trims by the Yard. You may think all fringe is the same. It is NOT! If you want to make something special, don’t go on the cheap. Trims by the Yard is crazy reasonable and you will get what you pay for. No, I have not been paid to say this. I got these jackets online too late this year, but the ones I have sold are loved by the owners and everyone who sees them. Love this swing-y fringe. Amazing!

The color was very true to the online description. I washed and dried the trim before sewing it. The 1/4" gray trim was very easy to work with around the center.
