This stuff is AMAZING!! I was trying to sew some faux leather and it would not sew, it would get stuck. I sprayed this on the presser plate, on the bottom of my presser foot and just like magic it just slid right through! No residue was left behind and no damage to my fabric! I highly recommend this product!! I will definitely be ordering more!

So far it's a fabulous machine! Thread clippers!! Built-in! Ohmygosh. I had to hack the seger threads i use. I almost solely use my cone threads but it wasn't working too so I threaded it with the top up & that's working. Sews easy. I haven't used it much yet so I can't say much more. The control panel is nice and it came with a good number of feet, as my bernina did also. So I have 1 brother machine, 2 babylocks and 2 bernina.

Fits perfectly on my Kenmore 158.17741. The machine did come with an ankle, but it was fussy to use, both with picking up and releasing the snap-on feet. I tried the ankle from my Kenmore 385 (identical to this product) and it worked much better, so rather than swapping constantly from machine to machine, I figured I'd pick up a second one to use for my 158. Very happy with it.

This was my first time making my own piping. I used 5/32 welting cord and a thin, domestic machine-friendly vinyl. The combination was too thick for my Janome piping foot, so I tried out my new Pearls and Sequins foot, and it fit perfectly. I couldn't use it with my Kenmore 158 because that does not have an adjustable needle, and the needle would have come down right in the middle of the cording, but I was able to successfully use it on my Kenmore 385, which does have an adjustable needle. I’m a sewist of over 50 years and do upholstery every day. My dining room table takes a lot of abuse. It’s my cutting room and staging area for projects.
