I put it together all by myself. It took me 15 hrs give or take. I used the instruction manual and YouTube videos for help. I was a little intimated by the instruction for the hydraulic lift but it was a piece of cake. If I can do it you can too! I have sooooo much storage now and it looks great in my sewing room.

Although this is not a Bernina branded foot, it fits my B790 perfectly. I wanted two of these because I have a craft business and was tired of having to switch between two of the plates while working on projects. I want the open toe to see that I am exactly on a pivot point without having to stop, lift up the foot and look underneath to see where I am. I love this plate for this, however, it is not great for regular sewing as the sides are too narrow to hold my project down to sew.

My only complaint was I wanted 5 1/2 yards of one and 2 1/2 of the other when I inquired as to whether it would all be one piece or not they said it would be and then I got another text after I ordered it that it wouldn’t be.
