Where has this board been all my life?? I usually only iron curtains and fabric for sewing projects, this board makes it so much easier to accomplish. I always hated trying to work around the point on the traditional ironing board. It was very easy to assemble with just 2 hinges. It is very heavy, as it is totally made with solid wood. I bought this chair for using in a small sewing area and I didn’t want a larger chair to deal with. My intentions were to use it infrequently and not for long periods of time it didn’t look very substantial so I sort of wrote it off for comfort. I just took it out and started sewing yesterday and the table as you can see by the picture fits perfectly to my machine. I love it!!! The shaft of the switch had broken off with the switch in the ON position. The owner had been using the sewing machine for several years with no switch, just plugging into AC power and unplugging it. Once the disassembly of the switch module was finished, replacement of the new replacement switch was straightforward. I bought this frame to use with my Husqvarna Topaz 50 sewing machine. It’s easy to use, the instructions are very thorough, and once you get a good rhythm going it truly is a breeze to use.
