Most important part to me-- inside the waist band.. there is a second waistband that can make them tighter if you want. I have looked for these for so long! A high rise does not work for me and almost all ski pants are high rise. These pants are mid to low rise - high enough to keep the snow out when you are sitting on the lift or happen to take a tumble. They fit like a dream - I am 5'5" and 138 lbs and the medium fits perfectly with enough room for base layers. Very flattering cut and kept me warm in Snowmass in January. Highly recommend - I got both the black and beige colors. Price is right too!
