It really does have an XPan vibe! The material and color matches the X100VI perfectly. I've been using this a couple of days and the fit is snug enough that it doesn't loose the alignment when I put it on my backpack. The cap is aluminium as well but it has a soft layer like the original cap. Also the OVF is still useful. All lens hoods have an impact in the flash and the OVF but this is the only square one I found that is the least noticeable. Very nice!

Great shutter release button… bought some and then some more… remember to put the rubber stopper on the release button to keep it snugly on the camera shutter release … else risk losing it.

The brass hood looks amazing on the Nokton 35mm ASPH, I'm really looking forward to a nice patina on the hood and with the new Brass Air clicker just makes for a perfect combo on any Leica whether it be film or digital. My impression after using them is that they have the same light-blocking and protective properties as the original 12485 lens hood, but their compact size makes them easier to handle and carry, and they also have fewer vignetting issues in the viewfinder.

Great hood that uses the Ultron f2 hood bayonet grooves to “snap” into place. You can leave filters on, it doesn’t interfere. Ships from Hong Kong but I didn’t get any additional fees/tariffs so that was great. I tested at f2 and don’t see any additional vignette.
