I bought the mega tough hippo toy for my 1 1/2 year old Rottweiler. He loves stuffed toys but destroys them. I had high hopes for this toy as it feels very durable. Unfortunately he had the tail ripped off within 5 minutes which left a large hole on the back of the hippo. I immediately took the toy away and will sew the hole shut to see if I can get a little more use out of it. For the price of $16.99 plus tax I feel a toy should last longer than 5 minutes especially if it is advertised for agg...

First time o posted, the attached photo did not appear, so trying again. ****Disappointing.**** Already had the small sized giraffe, its Hank's favorite toy. So, we bought him the large one. He absolutely LOVED it. Seems well constructed and durable, but we had it for only a couple days and the seam started coming apart at the back. Saw a couple other reviews on chewy and somewhere else that had the same issue. We'll probably buy more toys from here but I think we'll stay with the smaller plush ...

I feel the plastic it’s made out of is cheaper than the old ones. Near the top in the curve mine broke. Just doesn’t seem to have the same toughness. I’m going to order another one, but sure hope it doesn’t happen again.

took a long time to be shipped... i ordered a few things several days after i ordered this toy.. and they all got to me before the toy... but thats a side note... for the most part i like the toy... but... it was advertised as a 100% cotton toy... and its not... the shell is made of 20% polyester... if you do a goodle search... google says polyester is safe for dogs... but when you read into what polyester is made of and how its processed ..you learn... We launched this toy about 5 times and on the 5th time, the neck snapped out and separated from the rest of the toy. This is the 3rd time we’ve bough this toy and had this happen. Luckily she still gets use out of it even if it doesn’t fly anymore. We keep buying it in hopes that it will be more stable with a different model but I think the third times the charm. I would not recommend.

My puppy received this as a Christmas gift. I thought it would be cute for him to play with them last night, so I left them underneath my desk lamp for an hour, but they never glowed. I was very disappointed and thought maybe there was something else that needed to be done to “activate“ them. After reading the reviews, other people have said theirs didn’t glow either.

Not worth the money. My chiweenie had the elephant a total of 5 maybe 10 minutes and the trunk was off of it. Also bought him the giraffe and the legs are missing. I have tried to patch it a number of times and it just does not work.

These "Fetch & Glow" balls are definitely not for chewing on! After my 4 month old puppy played with this ball for about 15 minutes, it was full of cracks and breaking apart. Apparently this ball is made for a dog who will fetch without chewing, because as soon as my puppy started chewing on the ball, it started cracking.
