The original Skimmer Saver was not wide enough to cover my skimmer opening. I reached out to the manufacturer with the issue, and received an immediate response. He immediately sent a longer piece of mesh that covered the skimmer well. These hemlocks constantly shed needles. This device eliminates the need to constantly empty the clogged skimmers! It really works. Simple and elegant solution.

Hello Customer Service, I love your Skimmer Saver. My only issue is my pool skimmer box measures 17” across and from the pics I sent you can see on one side debris will get pass and enter the skimmer. If is possible to extend the betting by an additional two inch on both side. I would like to purchase another unit. Thanks Clive Rookwood.

I have only had the Skimmer Savers for a few weeks. It is February and the leaves have already fallen in Oklahoma this season, so they have not really been put to a test yet. Soon the trees will bud, the wind will blow and they will be put to a better test. But so far I think they will work well.

The Skimmer Saver works well. I don't have to empty my skimmer as often now. Easy to clean the debris off of the screen on the Skimmer Saver. Just spray the garden hose on it and the debris comes off in the yard instead of the pool.

Our pool is old and only has one skimmer basket so we are always anxious about it becoming stopped up with leaves. This is the first thing I have found that helps by keeping leaves out and allowing water to still flow (around the sides and from underneath the skimmer saver). We also have a Betta which circulates and captures the leaves before they sink to the pool floor.

I love my little skimmer shield, I did notice, though that it’s somewhat reduces the flow of water into the skimmer. I just make it a point that if the pool is not in need of the skimmer shield, I take it out and then the water flow increases. I have no complaints though, and it has really kept my having to clean out the skimmer all the time a lot easier and quicker.

The only complaint is that the screen does not go completely over the frame on the bottom. Has about a 1" area not covered. Some small debris comes in through the opening. Works ok.

The horizontal loop really needs to be much heavier, in order to keep it in place through wind and other disturbances. Also, the wing portion of the netting wss damaged in packaging and distorted.
