It took me a minute to install it as the instructions weren’t at all helpful. There was nothing to tell me or show me how to install the hard panels. Nor was there anything showing/telling me how/where the openings were for the seat belts. Luckily I have a good sense of how things should go so I was able to figure it all out. Now that it is in, I really like the rear seat extender; my dogs are safe and secure but still able to look out and they can see me.

Great design. The only downfall is I have a sporty car, so the back seat headrest doesn't allow for hooking on the straps, and they just kinda sit over them. The other thing is that my handles on the roof of the car by the windows are far back, so using the side straps is not functional. As in my big Great Pyrenees can't stick his head out the window. This is such a HUGE upgrade over the last seat protector! They we always slipping and sliding around & it was like being stuck in a hammock. We have only used it once going to the vet, but it seemed to make the dogs feel better, less anxious. They are NOT car dogs and we were able to leave them alone in the back seat and it went well. Great doggy bed for our new truck! It gives them the full area in the back and is stable for them. The bed is cozy. Took a 20 hour drive from Baton Rouge to Pittsburgh and the dogs loved that they could see us through the pass through and we could put it up and they knew it was nap time. I bought this for my new Shiba Inu. It fits my truck very well and my 2 dog have plenty of room to lay down and not have to worry about either one of tyhem falling off the seat and landing on the floor. I do like how you have the door so they can come up front anytime they wish , but I they don't do that often as they have so much room in the back. The hair that the dog leave behind is so easy to vacuum up. This is a very well constructed bed for the dog to enjoy while traveling.
