I purchased the kit with 48" rails planning to center them on the 96" table but realized my first three projects were all more than 48" so I ordered the extension rails adn built the table with 96" of rail. I can feel when the carriage goes over the junction of the rails but cannot see it on the work.

This is my first use of a silicone mold. The HDPE mold I was using was warping after several uses, rendering it useless. The biggest benefit of this silicone mold is the little amount of seepage of resin under the boards, weighing each piece of wood down with 25 pounds. I cut the length about 1/16" beyond 18" for a snug fit, and this seems to be enough to prevent side seepage. Having a cleaner underside makes finishing the board so much faster. i designed some chess pieces and a board with spaces between the squares and assumed i was doomed to making the boards out of wood until i stumbled on this mold. it doesnt quite meet fide specs for tournament play but other than that it matches my original design perfectly! even as complicated as the surface is the boards come out of the mold almost effortlessly! 5 stars!

I tried to make my own base and rail supports out of a piece of acrylic. Spent 2-3 hours measuring and laying out where I needed to drill, then off to the drill press. Needless to say, I didn't do a great job. Ended up ordering the U1 plates. Everything lined up perfectly and got to flattening. These plates are the way to go!

I love this tray mold. It is substantial and, if filling, uses quite a bit of resin. This is a good sized mold to be able to produce a variety of pieces for a variety of uses - hold jewelry, keys, wrapped candy, other snacks, or just left on a coffee table as art. I was able to produce an amazing 3d bloom in one. The mold is very glossy and is great quality silicone. I highly recommend it. I also added pictures of the other Texas pieces using Crafted Elements molds.

The Texas shaped coasters are ideal, especially if you have Texas-lovers. I was able to put in dried flowers to create beautiful set of coasters. I purchased the jig several week ago, but it took forever to get around to building a table to mount it on. I had originally ordered 4' rails but decided to go the whole 8' length. I'm glad I did as I have done 3 slabs over 6' already. Everything went together easily and the craftsmanship is superb. My first project was a floating shelf that not only did I flatten the slab, I also used the jig to hold the router while I added a chamfer to the edges.

Worked much better than a self made jig I have used. You do have to be careful to make sure you have tightened all the thumbscrews very tight or you could have some flex that would cause the groove to skew a bit (I have the older plastic jig). But overall works great.

This router sled is exceptional. First up it’s sturdy, with solid rails, and great precision in how it’s made. I was able to easily set this up over some melamine sheets on a work table and flatten a decent size walnut and epoxy table in short order. I’ve since flattened other projects with the sled - it’s first class. Adding the dust extraction system is next on the list to keep things clean in my dual use shop.

I think this product is built excellent, easy to use, easy set up. I wish I bought the vacuum attachment just to see how much it helps with the shavings. Overall very happy and impressed with it. Just need to know a better flatting bit to use. It’s leaving chipping on one side as I flatten, I know it leaves little lines which is fine but it’s chipping on one side especially when using on epoxy. Even if I fill them in you can still see the lines.

Easy to both use and store when not in use. Works like a charm and have that good quality durable feel to it. I would recommed it to anyone needing a juice groove jigg. Great value for money. Only challange I have met was when the hight of the board was an exact match for the track in the sides. That made the routerbase slide through. Easy fixed by raising the board.

Just wanted to let you know this sled set up is great! I usually build all my own jigs and modify everything to my liking. But your kit was the way to go. Especially with the acrylic router plate and cross bar brackets. I have a milling machine, but it would have taken a day, in lay out and set up to drill all the holes perfectly. So I really like your product.

The router sled works better than I expected. Easy setup. The router slides perfectly in all directions. Been using it to level some fine wood working projects that are too wide for my planer. Attached pictures of two chessboards that I planed using the router sled. Very impressed with this Elements tool.
