The metal strips are much too strong to be easily bent to shape. And the shape is very difficult to attach to a mask. I've tried several patterns and the strip doesn't really fit. And it does NOT stop fogging on glasses.

The nose piece with the holes allowing me to stitch it place in my masks gives me the assurance I have a tighter seal around my nose and less fogging of my glasses. Thank you for quick delivery. I placed a second order after my initial purchase. I prefer the straight type bands for the different styles of masks I've been sewing for myself and family. The quality of the metal is great and bends comfortably over the bridge of the nose. They slip easily into the sewn pockets; and with the holes, I have the option to attach with a few stitches. They wash and dry perfectly without removal. I highly recommend!

Between the 3 inch regular length and the 4 inch length, I prefer the longer, 4 " long steel strips because the longer strip shapes the front of my cloth masks better. The longer strip of steel form-fits the mask across not only my nose, but also my cheek bones, some. This helps hold the mask closer to my face to let fewer alien air particles invade my mask and fewer particles that I breathe out from getting out from other my mask to possibly infect others.

I like that these have holes and no adhesive so that I can use the same nose wires for both slipping them into a pocket on a fully home-sewn mask, and retrofitting Old Navy masks. They are a bit stiff, but that is worth it to not have them break so easily (which was a problem when I used aluminum nose pieces). Love these lanyards. I gave them out as gift for christmas. I just went on vacation and had to get in and out of car or walk from place to place. The lanyard keeps your mask around your neck and you don't lose it. I have used mine many times.

These nose clips are perfect. They are bendable and hold the mask up on my face all day without slipping down - even if the ear elastics are a little loose, this DYI nose clip (I ordered the straight ones) really helps hold the mask to your face nice and snug. They do twist a little in the washing machine.
I tack them at center as well as both ends ( necessary).
I have also tried stitching across ( in x pattern) all the way across so they don’t twist.
If you added some more holes for attachment they would be even better.

I've made several home-made masks, and I've had issues with my glasses fogging. I sewed the bars into the masks, and that has resolved the fogging issue. I also made new masks, and I sewed the bars inside so they're not visible, and they work great to fit to the face.
