Sturdy, easy to attach by hand or machine. Definitely helps the fit across the nose. I see so many masks worn incorrectly. For instance-the pleated ones should be worn with the pleats "water falling" down; the other way leaves pockets for droplets to collect. Sewing a wire at the top ensures they are worn correctly.

I LOVE the tubular elastic! It's soft and non-irritating. The price for 20 pieces was outstanding. The only drawback is that the pieces are too short to make an adjustable mask - I had to sew two pieces together in order to do that. For a non-adjustable mask they would be fine.
