I have used these but they aren't as convenient as the contour pieces because they need to be "covered" in bias tape or another piece of fabric which makes them more time consuming.

Super convenient and quality mask supplies. I've bought the nose wires several times and this is my first time buying the ear loops. They're stretchy with good resilience and they don't fray. If I make more masks (I've made at least 300 so far) I'll buy my supplies here again.

These straight nose pieces work fine with the masks I already had since my masks had a slot for them to go into so I didn't have to sew them in. They work great!

These nose pieces for face masks really do help! Just a hint to you as you pursue additional sales, showing photos as per the recent email I received would be most helpful to first time buyers! I attached one of the “curved” pieces to a mask, but found that it wasn’t quite right. With the aid of photos, I know I’ll get it positioned correctly. Thanks again!

These work best with the elastic sold by DIYMasks but you can thread through your own elastic that is braided or 1/8 inch. It takes a strong thread, but it can be done.

The material that these are made from is exceptional. It doesn’t irritate the skin on the ears, is very stretchy and lasts through many washings. The one downside is that I would prefer them to be an inch longer.

I’ve purchased these strips several times now. I’ve made quite a few masks for family and friends. I always get the straight one-I like being able to bend them myself. I have made numerous mask, three different kinds, a flat one that ties, one that I started using pipe cleaners, and my last design that I use your straps, and helps with a lot less fogging glasses. This mask has been my favorite, I don't have a good picture that shows the elastic straps, but they are soft, don't pull on my ear, extremely comfortable. I have been making mask since this pandemic has started and been giving mask away. Thank you for making a comfortable strap!

I ordered both the straight and the curved metal nose pieces. I have decided the best way to use them is to sew it to the outside of the masks I make as this is the most comfortable way to use it.

Received these straight mask inserts very quickly. I made masks for friends and family without inserts before ordering these, and the ones with the inserts definitely are more preferable since you can 'customize' the fit to your face. The inserts are lightweight and easily molded to nasal contours. They are a definite 'plus' as a performance enhancement feature in my home-crafted masks. The fact that the mask can be molded helps prevent fogging up of glasses when wearing them.

I started making masks with regular elastic but found it to be uncomfortable around the ears. The stretchy strips are perfect, just enough stretch without being too tight and they are comfortable for a much longer period of time. This is my second order and doubled up this time!

I bought the shaped strips & love them. I make masks with a channel for a strip, so I don’t sew them on & can remove them when I wish. But when I’ve taken them out, they go right back in because my glasses don’t fog up then. Highly recommended!

I realized very soon after making my first face masks that I needed some sort of stablizer for the nose so they would stay in place and heip eliminate the fogging of my glasses. I tried various wires, aluminum pieces, etc. until I found your site. I use them with confidence - they stay put (thanks to the small holes) and they don't break. I'm so glad that I found your site and supplies. I've ordered twice and am ready to place another order. (It seems that this virus isn't going away anytime soon.) The nose pieces have worked really well and since getting your elastic and toggles making the masks is quicker and they work better. The only thing I might suggest is to make some un-cut elastic available. The mask inserts arrived in a timely manner and I was delighted with them! Mask making has become a hobby (I've made about 30 so far), and I was frustrated with the aluminum inserts I was using. They bent too easily and broke after 2 or 3 wearings. When I saw that yours were steel, I knew that I had to try them out. I'm very pleased. Product looks great, however my flat elastic cannot be used, my fault, didn't realize I needed the cord/string type elastic...will need to go find some! I had a piece of the cord elastic and with that the product works perfectly.

It seems I just keep making more and more masks for my family......almost 100. All but the youngest want the metal on the nose piece. I sew a small casing into the lining of the mask so that it's secure and not seen. They all seem to like the way they fit. Plus, you guys are very fast getting orders out. I just wish I had thought of buying in"bulk" in the beginning I've used so many. Thanks for this great product.

This is my second order of the curved mask bars. They hold up very well and everyone who has one of my masks say they are one of the most comfortable they have worn. I insert the bar into a tube in my masks and they just stay put, through washer and dryer. Easy to reshape after laundering or for a new person using a clean mask. A very good product!

These steel nose wires are sturdy and a little stiffer than the aluminum ones. They are stronger and I’m hopeful they will last longer. I wish they had an adhesive strip on one side.

These silicon discs are a great choice. For easiest use you will need a small crochet hook ( I use a lace hook) to get the elastic through the disc, but I suspect there are other solutions. The discs stay in place and are very comfortable. They can be machine washed and dried just fine. This was my second order and I have both white and black -- a very good solution to the sizing issue!
