Although the outside bezel is plastic rather than the wood of an original Station Clock, it has been moulded to look distressed as has the face. It really gives it an authentic look. Obviously too new to comment on the clock mechanism, but hopefully it will cope with the large counter weighted hands. Yes good value for money

It's fairly large so better suited to use on your bedside cabinet rather than travel use. The whole clock face glows in the dark so is easily readibly but it's not so bright as to be distracting. It also has two LED's activated by just pressing the clock face but I haven't needed this. The alarm is nice and loud but the large cancel button on the top is easily found

It was not easy to find a small clock to work outside on our summerhouse. Past similar clocks have not survived weather for an acceptable amount of time. So far this model is working well.
