Looking for a horse related gift for my cousin who had completed a stem cell transplant. As a stem cell recipient myself I know how much items to celebrate such an occasion mean. Love the picture. Better than on website. Good quality board and borders on frame. Material for underneath good. Shame the corners underneath were glued but they were still firmly joined and secure, just not so pretty. But very good quality overall for the money. Same quality everywhere except glue as my last tray - which cost double the money.

I bought it as a present so can only tell you what I was told. The recipient loves it. He is pleased with the picture of the labrador (has a black lab himself) and likes that it is from a painting. Bought for him to use as a laptray for when he has a TV dinner, but finding it very useful as a drawing board. I think it is great. The Sphinx is alongside Rameses and the lovely goddess Isis! They sit on a small yellow tray to indicate sand. The only problem is I cannot understand Egyptian language. My next endeavour will be Tutankhamen!

An excellent clock .place in an area where it can chime and strike without causing disturbance. The chime and strike are quite loud. Please perservere with the pendulum set up as initially this can prove problematic eg fast slow overseinging .

I have bought many wall clocks in the past and they all measure about 7" t0 8" in Diam. and 1 1/4" deep, This model is a monster! 12" diam and 2" deep and It's robust. Silent second finger sweep, thus no annoying tick. Keeps perfect time and very visible (for those with vision problems) The price is incredibly cheap so all in all it's a real bargain, providing the size is OK for you. I would recommend this clock.

Clock was wanted to replace a larger 'mirror-image' clock in the bathroom. I needed a smaller, silver non-ornate clock, since it is on the wall behind you and only visible from the mirror over the sink. My brain has got around telling the time of a clock in the mirror (since I retired I do not need to clock-watch as much). THe clock fits the bill brilliantly.

This is by far the best nutcracker I have ever used. It is compact, sturdy, and easy to use. It conveniently keeps shell fragments from escaping from the nutcracker as the pressure needed to break the shells is smoothly controlled without sudden jerks. Consequently the nuts are not squashed into tiny pieces and ones fingers are not over strained during use. The construction of the nutcracker has a comfortable feel to the design and looks likely to have many years of use to look forward too.
