Tis a bit of a fun story; I bought my partner a set of dice and had been debating between the Nyx's Embrace and Java Elementals, and chose the former. And because I'd also gotten myself a set, I was able to add a free mystery set onto the order. Lo and behold we got the Java Elementals in that mystery pack!!! My partner was thrilled! Now, if only I could convince him to let me keep the chonk d20 for myself...

Photos really don't do these dice justice. Along with the silver, there's blue and pink glitter in there, too. Well made, perfectly inked, and balanced to boot, these are well worth the price. If you like glitter, I highly recommend River Magic.

I love these dice! They roll very well and are very visually pleasing, you can tell they are high quality and feel good in your hands. The larger d20 and d6 are incredibly useful as a DM, and just plain fun! Also adore the two different types of d4. Highly recommend!

Beautiful design. I love how the light makes the faces flash as you hold and roll it. The heavy weight on the points dig into your skin in a delightfully evil way. This will be the death roll die, no doubt. Only complaint is that there are some gold smudges on the faces that catch the light. I'll have to figure out how to remove those.

They way in with the milk swirls in these dice is the single most satisfying thing I have ever seen. I keep them on my desk all the time (first, to show people, second, to undercover force Dim20 on them!). I just love them so much. Everytime I look at it I wonder, is it coffee time? It is. But it's also dnd time!

Normally, I wouldn't buy dice that are hard to read, because I play with some people who have minor visual issues. But these dice are just so stunningly beautiful... they really do look like marble! I couldn't stop myself.

Turned out so good! Was hesitant to buy a translucent rainbow set since the one I have from somewhere else just looks so dark and like absolutely nothing if you don’t look at it straight on. But these are light and look great even at weird angles!

I was thinking about getting a larger d20 for a while, and as soon as I saw the Woodwind I knew this was the one. I’m a musician and my main D&D character is a tuba playing half-orc bard named Maul Simon, so this die makes my performance and spell rolls that much more satisfying (seeing a lone 8th note on a crit fail is pretty funny too). The quality, texture, and details are great. A little sharp around the edges and it takes a second to get used to doing the 8th note math, but I love it. Great...

The 20 rolls high constantly. Set feels great, nice weight, inlays are beautiful. D4 is amazingly sharp pointed, and d8 is really small in comparison to a standard d8. D20 numbers vary in size depending on 1 or 2 digit numbers, double digits can be slightly difficult to read but it's a minor quibble.

Big chonk! It's the biggest die I ever got and it's amazing! Nice weight to it, not too heavy, great color and inclusions! Love the accompanied statblock as well, my players might just encounter one of these rolling by soon enough.....

Mystery set!! It's got a great quality to it and the expanded set is a great value. Love the chonk and the different shape d4. Would have liked the second d6 to be the same size as the other one (it's a little bigger) but otherwise it's terrific!

I ordered the ghost d4 chonks as a Christmas gift for my players because the snowflake ones were out at the time. In a weird turn of luck, I ended up getting the snowflake ones instead! There were much bigger than I expected and my players absolutely loved them! They've been using them as their student dice for Strixhaven :)

This was the perfect gift for my boyfriend who is super hard to buy for. He has a ton of gaming stuff and buys himself whatever he wants. This Advent(ure calendar was a great gift however. The picture I took does not capture how excited he was on the 1st of December when the first pocket revealed a Large D20 and saw 24 more days of dice on the horizon. My only complaint was that Dice Envy had 25% off their entire site a couple weeks after I purchased it. Oh well, that's the luck of the dice lol ...

So I bought this advent calendar with the intention of opening one per day....but after opening day one...the dice goblin living inside of me just said, "Do It". So here we are....with so many amazing dice that I'll be testing out tonight during my D&D session. Well worth the money! My favorite is the wooden music note d20!!!! Though I was hoping to get my hands on one of the other mystery sets(that pretty orange/bronze/gold one), this set has really started to grow on me! There's pink and black wisps that work very well for my small pink cleric who, perhaps, has a word or two for her goddess. As always the dice are easy to read and I love the additional chonky boi!! Since I started dm'ing for the first time, I try to make sure my dice are as easy to read as possible for quick responses to my players!

This dice set is easily my new favorite set that I own, and like a lot of people, I have a ton of dice. They are beautiful, with a nice heavy feel to them. It also came with a beautiful case for the set, and it’s a great addition too. I 100% recommend this set to anyone who wants some obsidian gemstone dice. Dice Envy always delivers, and this set is no exception, beautiful set, not just a home run, but a grand slam.
