Love this barrel size <3 the heat setting is great for adjusting to hair texture and desired crimp definition. You can play around with different sectioning of your hair to get different textures too. My favorite is the soft finger wave look!! Nice packaging and quality ceramic barrels.

So so so fabulous. It takes some getting used to as it’s a little awkward at first, but now it takes me 15 mins to do my hair. I use a holding heat protectant first, followed by hair spray once my hair cools down and sets. I’ve had this style last for three days, getting beachier each day. Would definitely recommend if you’re on the fence. Well worth it for a super chill hairstyle. Also I have thick, straight hair. I use heat setting 190 for most of my hair and 180 for my bangs.

I have naturally thick wavy hair, so I was worried this tool wouldn’t work the best on my hair type. I am actually super impressed with it! It’s super easy to use and creates a nice loose wave that looks polished with no frizz. I have a ton of hair but it only takes me 10 mins to do my whole head, so it saves me time getting ready in the morning which is a bonus! Would definitely recommend.

I have fine, super straight hair that cannot hold a curl. I used the Mermaid Waver and it stayed for 3 days! The first time I didn’t use any product in my hair and it still looked okay but the waves were really loose. I love the look of the wave iron! The texture it gives the hair is amazing! My ONLY complaint would be the placement of the on/off button and heat settings. It’s directly under the clamp and and it gets switched off super easily and then the iron cools down and I have no idea until it’s not waving my hair anymore and the clamp itself is VERY strong which is good for holding hair so I understand the purpose but it takes a toll on your thumb in the process. Only have used the product once so far but I love how my hair turned out. I feel like with more practice it will look perfect! The crimp holds very well and even the next day my bed head look gorgeous. Only negatives I have is that it’s a little bulky so that makes it slightly hard to maneuver by yourself, and it gets really hot so be careful not to burn yourself :)

Best styling tool I’ve ever purchased for my hair! I have super straight “Asian” hair hah! Whenever I use a regular curler my hair falls back straight almost immediately even with tons of hairspray. With the Mermade curling tool, my hair stayed on for at least two days, no hairspray!. (Could be longer but I keep falling asleep without covering it) I love this tool so much and have been recommending it to all my friends.

For a longer stronger hold you could incorporate a heat styling spray with the use of this tool. So much easier than the flat iron and non marking clips technique for these on point in style waves.
