This was for a 7 year old, she loved it. I got the bracelets for her and her two younger sisters, they love sea life so the idea of having 'their own turtle' was great. It will also have to be kept in her jewelry box for a few years, but she can still track her turtle. Bought this as a Christmas gift for my fourteen year old grandson. He lives in Ohio, but while visiting us this past summer he made comment that he loves turtles & would like to have one as a pet. Our family loves the beach and all the ocean animals. Tracking a sea turtle was a great way for us to share an experience and learn more about "our" assigned turtles. I purchased four bracelets and was surprised when we all received info for the same turtle (Bootes)! I think it would be more interesting if we had at least received two different turtles to follow. Overall, very happy with the bracelets and look forward to see where Bootes travels next!
