I had heard horror stories about harnesses and how dogs don’t like them, will pull on the leash more, etc. But, I don’t like walking with a normal leash and collar because of the throat compression. So, I decided to bite the bullet and try this harness. My golden retriever is only 4 months old, so there was a learning curve, but within a few weeks, he got the hang of it and now walking him is a pleasure. I love that it is reflective and has his name and my phone number on it.

Hamilton pulls very hard and is very hard to control. The true harness makes it easier to handle Hamilton and I can get an easier grip on him and do not worry about him slipping his collar. Plus it’s easy to put in because he is very wiggly

I bought TruHarness for my daughter's dog, Sawyer. Sawyer has some going outside issues (he's a little neurotic) and often has to be "coaxed" to go outside. My daughter says the harness is simple to put on him and there's no more slipping out of his collar when he does not want to go out. True Harness is very comfortable on Otto. It’s very easy to get on and off. Malamutes are pullers by breed and this harness helps offset his nature to pull as much.

I AM SO SORRY! I wrote a review of two harnesses I bought and said some negative things. I decided to look at them again tonight to see why they weren't working for me. I figured it out!!! Doh!!! The strap that goes around the dog's shoulders has velcro. You have to put the strap through the metal loop and fold it under. I wasn't doing that. Jade from Fort Lauderdale Florida loves her harness! She even brings it to me when it’s ‘that time’. It only took her one day to get used to it going over her head and now she puts her head through it when I hold it up. Love the new harness. So easy to put on and it works ,it really has stopped both my dogs from pulling and has made walks so enjoyable. Obviously very comfortable to wear. I am really glad I purchase the TrueHarness for Taz. She is a big girl and can be stubborn. We have tried a variety of harness. Her previous harness was great however she Injured her spine and I was worried that if she pulled or I pulled on her that it would make matters worse. She had done great in recovering and with her new harness I am not worried of her pulling and it fits her comfortably. I highly recommend the TrueHarness and by the smile on her face so does Taz.

Love this harness! Got it for 12-week old lab puppy. The only issue I had was if front strap is not snug enough, she occasionally was able to twist in such a way that the strap ended up like a gag in her mouth. I wasn't able to see exactly how she managed to do this... but, once I tightened it up further, the problem did not reoccur. Easy to put on, looks good and is comfortable on walks. I'll be getting the medium for her once she outgrows the small!

We love our harness! I especially love that we were able to customize Nora’s harness to say “Blind Puppy” as she was born with no eyes. It makes others aware when we have her out on walks so I don’t have to explain why she is a ways running in circles and her reaction to other people and their dogs. It’s also so very easy to get on and off of her so she doesn’t get too confused. Thank you True harness!

This harness has made a huge difference. It’s a pleasure to walk my Boston’s now. My female Mazie is a puller and has actually flipped me twice causing injuries. My male Murphie can get off his collar and leash and he’s a runner. These harnesses have solved both problems. I also have never had an easier harness to put on and adjust. The harness is easy to get on a very active puppy. I have had mine for only 4 mos. and the D ring ripped off while walking her. The handle ripped a month ago. However it is a comfortable harness so I will probably order another one for that reason alone. My 55 lb. lab does have the ability to pull with this harness. I am not negative about this because she is a lab puppy and that’s what they do. I would recommend this for larger dogs but with a warning, check harness weekly for signs of tearing ...

She doesn’t fight to put it on and she helps to take it off by backing out of it. She likes it so much more than the other harness we had for her. It fits well and there is still a lot of growing room. It doesn’t keep her from pulling, but that is something I have to work on in training.

I used the ultrasonic trainer for my sweet dog Gunner, and he's about 80% trained to not go crazy whenever anyone comes to the door or walks down the street.
