I have purchased 5 or 6 size small harnesses (one is a spare that’s never been used) for my 6 yo 21 lb cavapoo. I recently ordered and received a XS harness for my 12 week old 4.7 lb cavapoo puppy. I’ve never had any issues with the small harnesses but the XS harness clasp broke 1 week after receiving. I love it. And Malibu really lives it. She is an 8 year old Husky that I’ve had by my side since she was 6 weeks old. I’ve always used the traditional style harness that I would actually keep on her for a lengthy time. Malibu is a spoiled house companion but loves to go for walks. I only put this on her when we go outside, and take it off as soon as we come back in. It is so simple to put on & take off. Also it is a very comfortable fit for her when she has it on. Missy is 20 months old and doesn't pull as much while walking her. I took her to a dog park last Saturday and had a problem with another dog that wanted to play but was chewing on her new harness. The owner of the dog came to me and asked that I take her harness off so her dog wouldn't chew on it. I didn't say anything and took Missy's harness off. Buddy is a 17 lb Yorkshire Terrier mix, 4 yrs old. He is a puller even after training but the True Harness makes it somewhat better to control walks. When I first take him out in the morning he runs down the apartment hall like he was pulling a dog sled until he gets outside.
