All together we have done about a dozen murder mystery parties over the years. We had such a fun time with this one and keen to order more from your website. This murder mystery is great because if people cancel it’s not a big deal. In todays day and age that is a real win. Oh my word, we had so much fun! We played the game with 14 characters at a party. We took inspiration from the Great British Bake Off and decorated our "stage area" with the little party flags and had an impromptu Bake Off co test (we had each character decorate a cupcake in the style of their character). We did this for my birthday! A bit of prep needed but as the host I was still in the game by placing a letter for each character (I know would recommend numbers) all in a hat, and once we were all present we all pulled from the hat, noted our numbers privately and put them back in. We had so much fun at our Dead Men Drink No Rum Murder Mystery Pirate Party! We had a pool, so the murderer "went down with the mast" and was set out to sea on the pirate ship cooler floatie with a slow leak instead of walking the plank :) The directions were easy to follow. My 11 yo daughter wanted this for her birthday party. I bought some props and costume elements for each character - we had quite a lot that was just around the house that we used. You don't have to have costumes though! You could even just use name tags, if you are pressed for time and/or money. The girls all had a great time. This was a great experience all around. Customer service is excellent. Got quick responses to every email. My family does a murder mystery 2-4 times each year. This game is so incredibly customizable that I had no worries about adding on players at last minute. The script is easy to follow. For the round of rumors, I wanted to make sure everything was on an even field and so each player was given the assignment to spread a rumor about another specific player. We had great fun. Mitchell Angelo went all out with his costume including the fake Italian police ID! The instructions were easy to follow and the concept of picking the murderer on the night was genius. It meant I could enjoy the evening and take part as much as everyone else. We hosted a charity murder mystery evening using the Gin, Jazz, Money & Murder pack and it was a blast. We had 18 guests which was absolutely perfect, the scripts and names made everyone chuckle and they all enjoyed the challenge of figuring out who the murderer was! All the paperwork, images, voice and audio files were fantastic quality and simple to organise which made preparation super easy. It was awesome! Everyone got into character and the accents provided a big laugh. It was so much fun working out who did it and difficult too. Pretty easy to figure out and organise. 1 tip though. Instead of saying if you want to play you need an assistant to do the alphabet/letters part. You should just write everyone’s name on an envelope mix up the letter papers and randomly place them in the envelopes. The family nickname for our house is "The Sam's Head" so we pretended to be the pub where the Bake Off took place. The whole family entered into the spirit of the occasion and dressed up accordingly with my son in law speaking with a French accent whose ad lib was perfect.
